it’s crit power. just a translation error. don’t have an answer about EP attack power but most people say it’s not worth investing EP into

This is quite helpful, actually. I've been looking around online to find out what some of these talents do to no avail - this one in particular.
  • Most in-game crit factor translations are actually crit power, but they haven't been fixed yet.

EP attack power is reportedly an extremely small overall modifier, meaning most enhancements which yield it cost way more EP than they have any right to. Indeed not very good.

If you check the talent calculator then you can see that these attack power bonuses can go up to 100 points invested and they do not cost that many points compared to the other talents so this might be an ideea that the attack power bonus is actually a filler made for players to spend their extra points.

p.s. it is probably better to invest more for the raw power talent even if it costs 5points eventually

From what I've heard, that numerical EP value is simply tacked onto the end of your damage number. So let's say you have a skill that normally does 2,000,000 damage when it crits, and you just applied enough EP points to give it a 200 EP attack power boost. Well congrats, because now it's gonna do 2,000,200. This is just what I've heard. From testing it myself (nothing extensive; I merely applied EP boosts to my top used skills and then checked my numbers before and after, in similar parties with the same kind of healer), the damage difference was literally nothing. I'd like to think if I'd truly added a sizable boost to my top used skills, then the difference would be somewhat noticeable.

So, take it with a grain of salt, but it doesn't seem like EP attack power on specific skills does much.

Yeah. Sad. It changed pretty much nothing on my skills either. So I suppose these are either not working, or the term "EP attack" is wrong and the stuff does something else (like maybe an also minimal amount of added crit chance) or w/e. STill the result is the same. At it's current, it's not worth wasting EP on it. In fact, other than plain pow and def (the very first two EP things you see in the window), most of the rest seems more focused on min maxing for those who want to uber squeeze their performance numbers.

DId a small test on a random character:

    Zenobia Vortex on IOD Basilisk

    386616 normal damage

    800296 crit damage

Zenobia Vortex on IOD Basilisk +547AP

    410573 normal damage

    848210 crit damage

Then i added 16 power for fun:

    436784 normal damage

    902467 crit damage

And then i added another 25 power for fun:

    477739 normal damage

    987244 crit damage

im read ep damage is no afected from damage boost and any other buff, so you get more damage for stack power instead power upgrade ep damage

DId a small test on a random character:

    Zenobia Vortex on IOD Basilisk

    386616 normal damage

    800296 crit damage (800296/386616 = 2.07 , since priest dont get crit power from nostrum , this was my mistake ) (800296-386616= 413.680 k )

Zenobia Vortex on IOD Basilisk +547AP

    410573 normal damage

    848210 crit damage (848210/410573 = 2.065 ) ( diference 437.637 k., diference 23.957 k, since we dont have power values im assume is the same )

Then i added 16 power for fun:

    436784 normal damage

    902467 crit damage (902467/436784 = 2.066) (465.683 k , diference 28.046 k /16 = 1752.875 + damage each power in priest , this mean 23957/547= 43.79 more damage per ep damage skill xD

And then i added another 25 power for fun:

    477739 normal damage

    987244 crit damage ( 987244/477739= 2.066) ( 509.505 k Diference 43.822 k /25 = 1752.88 + damage per power stack in priest

    987244/1752 = 563 .2125 = 0.0116 1 power afect each crit in priest

im misstipo 0.3 cus im was think crit power from nustrum

pd : ep damage is too little in pve hue

thsnk for all good coments in dc <3

I did the tests on a newbie priest that i have around and i could waste the reset potions without care.. But thanks for the addition ^^

AP bonus should probably be left only for the future when we are at 200+ or 300+ talents and/or finished with the most important talents.
  • sad, we ned like 3 years to get +300 :'(

at current rate getting to 300 should be easily doable by around the end of January 2019.
I heard some people are already 200+

I am around 110 and i was not slacking with my stuff.

Whoever went near 200 probably farmed IOD with 10 alts per day doing 16 different dailies first then using the potions and going offline right away to save up on cooldown..

Are there any class based talent guides online? Did a search for lancer to get an idea what to invest points into and didn't find anything.
