How to use Talent system?

By what I mean about that is does it really matter where I put my points into? What do you guys recommend per class on how to use the points properly?

Check your class's discord, they probably have some stuff on it to where to spend points and what's entirely useless

You definitely want to increase Power and Endurance. After that it's basically whatever rustles your jimmes (in a good way).

That said, avoid the EP damage talents. From what I've read, they add a flat increase in damage only modified by level difference between you and what you're fighting. Don't waste time with those.

Like @SageWindu said. Focus on Power and Endurance. The rest, as far as I've seen and read around, are very minimal buffs that could maybe make a noticeable difference if you spend all points on a single stat. For example, EP attack power is apparently a tiny modifier to the damage of a skill, so you'd have to toss a large amount of points in that single skill's EP AP to be able to see a difference you can really use. So I feel it's more of a min-max thing. The rest of the buffs seem more self explanatory.

This table by Ketoh and Co. gives more detailed info on what each thing does.

It's definitely not "after Power it's all minimal increase". Dont be misguided and learn your class(es) better

I feel the table I linked above should answer each and every question regarding where points should or should not be used. It has point distributions for all classes, with a color guide on where your points will have the better effect for each class.

Oh thank you this is what Ive been trying to look for.
  • It depends a lot if you PvP or PvE because there are two different builds for each type.

I went with max investment into power bonus followed by haymaker cooldown reduction with a low priority on roundhouse kick reset for PvE as Brawler.

The priest is for PvP and has some stuff invested like for example endurance with knockdown reset and some other stuff useful for PvP.

p.s. the best thing to do with the EP system is to have one character focus only on PvE or PvP

erf.... your name, or someone named ketoth, is mentioned there and in other documents sometimes posted around here. Mind clearing up? I'm just trying to credit where credit is due.
