I hate elins
I don't hate elins, but I would really like to make a male castanic ninja, and name him something along the lines of Hayabusa. And amani brawlers are like the first most logical race/class combo. But nobody likes amanis, and that saddens me.
I'm actually surprised they preferred to create a complete new class (valk) instead of making castanic ninjas, even if only females for now.

Yeah you're right. The last thing we needed was another new class. They should just focus on making the current race/gender-locked classes available to other races and genders. Though probably not for valkyrie since in lore valkyrie's were females....

Be that as it may, there's nothing to say that valks can't reach people of all races in the current age. The lore is flexible enough for it - hell, look at brawlers.
Besides, they're not like reapers who are literally anguish and vengeful rage personified.
I'm not saying that absolutely they can't/shouldn't make male valkyries. And I wasn't talking about Tera's lore. I was talking about the original lore (where the concept of valkyrie came from). In Norse mythology valkyries were females who decided who in battle died and who didn't; then they chose half from those who died and took them to Valhalla. So it made sense for them to gender-lock it due to the title; its not the only game that has done that. And I can see them using that as an excuse to not bother opening it up for males.
But I don't care whether they make the class open to males or not, as I don't care about the class at all; its one of my opinions that its a trash class anyway.
