I have opened 2 so far and both had snowflake bombs.

Anyone know the other things that might be inside?

Thanks for the answers so I can now know what I can hopefully get

With the second one I found I managed to get the ice-maker footsteps. Very happy 'cause it was exactly the footsteps that I wanted. With that I can already stop actively searching for them~ Looks like the loot-table is exactly like the fat-santa one, only with a few minor changes.

Can someone from management actually tell us how the spawn rate is triggered? It should be random all over, but some say all over Frontera, some say go back around areas you just finished. There seem to be hot spots, so if someone could tell us really how they are picking where and when to spawn these guys, that would really help us. I don't need exact spots, but are you guys adding higher spawn rates to certain areas over others? I have a few favorite spots I search, and they've been excluded from this event. However, I go to Frontera (where I see at least 10 other people searching) and find tiny santas all about. So what's the deal? You've squished three servers onto one and want us to compete over the same low spawn rates, and now, we're supposed to compete in the same areas? Why can't we search in our own areas to have the same chance as others? I don't want to have to run to the box to beat someone else out of it like we were doing in Frontera. To me, that isn't very fun or entertaining. Plus, we shouldn't have to constantly backtrack if the santas are spawning in areas where players have just been. That seems a bit cruel. The spawn for the Anniversary Event seemed random, but this just seems a bit messed up.

I spent two hours looking for these boxes and the fat santa and I found about 10 boxes and around 20 fat santas

I got three footsteps, two of them in these boxes and one in a fat santa.

in general the drops were very bad of 20 santas in a 10 I got only silver siglo and darics, In these boxes too most of the drops were snowflake bombs and dyad niveot structures

I explored quite a lot of the maps of all regions and found just a tiny santa in Cutthroat Harbor, definitely the only point you will see several boxes and several santas is in Frontera and if you are on a pvp server get ready to fight for them, I also do not understand why all of them only appear in that area, the game's staff could fix that and spread the spawn all over the map
  • Yeah I farmed for a while as well, was helping a friend get footsteps finally got them after like the 10th box.

Was like a 3 hour farm encountering Santas along the way...they didn't drop the good stuff.
  • Got 1 while gathering in Frontera
    30% EP Boost (1 Hour) x3 junk
  • Skull mask x2 (really for Christmas loot? Please re-evaluate for next year), 30% EP Boost, Snowflake Bombs. Just like with the Fat Santas I did not actively look for but stumbled across harvesting in various zones.
I received a set of footsteps yesterday but cannot remember if it was a Fat Santa or one of these boxes.
  • Went to gather some ore in Kanstria passed that last guy and got a fat santa standing on the side of a box got 2 at once a run around for ore and got 5 boxes and 5 fat santas and a few small santas
Got a holloween skull ribbon hairband ? couple of reward boxes 16 golden daric 8 silver siglo about 30 snow [filtered] thingys and assorted other gabage. All in about 30 minutes of gathering. Great place to farm............ore LOL

Yeah, it's really sad that they can't code very well and do a lot of their events through copy and pasting of code created for other events. At least that is how they made it seem in their streams.

I was going a legion quest and the team killed the boss so fast I had a few extra minutes. Wandered around for a minute and found a blue box with the ice footsteps. That is all I wanted to go along with the Wintera steps I bought. I've done more searching, and yeah, Frontera is certainly the spot to go. I have been all over channels just finding a few tiny santas. Their coding is seriously in need of repair.

Happy they brought Fat Santas and the Terron boxes back. I'm finding a lot of both today.
  • I've found lots of fat santas today and i ran into one blue box which ended up giving me the footsteps.
  • Seems now Fat Santas are 2 hit kill.
    Merry Christmas!
