    I've been getting nothing but foot steps Silver and Gold plates. Only got five snowflake bombs.

    Hunt outside Highwatch ( Ex Prima, Spring Valley, Savage Reach) I'm sure you will stumble upon one in those areas.

    Got the Icemaker Footsteps yesterday (Xmas)
    When this morning seen 1 box and only got Smart Dyad Niveot x2 from it nothing else
    But got the Hidden Weapon Sheath and regular Dyads from a fat santa

    I can't confirm this, but it seems like it's very difficult to find santas in areas with a lot of channels. Frontera was probably the best because it only has one channel on TR, and the other 3-4 channel areas netted me pretty decent results. On the other hand, attempts to farm Elenea, Celestial Hills, Tralion, and such ended up with no santas or boxes at all.

    I'm not sure if this is because the limit on santas is per area instead of per channel, or something else.

    Unfortunately while frontera did have a lot of spawns it also had a lot of people bullying each other for getting box's. I farmed around Highwatch and ended up with tons of box's and Santa's.

    A friend of mine ended up with 10 weapon sheaths 1 mask, several smart dyads and 10 of the ice foot steps just from levling their character and accidentally finding things while going.

    Yes, I did test that areas with few channels ( 1 - 3 ) have better results when looking for both Santas and Boxes.
    While also testing out spawn rates, places with easy (smaller) routes to follow yield good results too.

    I either throw them away of don't use a pet and leave them. Trash

    I had areas where i could not find a single one when i went to gather materials for crafting and i had areas where i could find oh so many santas and boxes...

    The best thing to do is to check out the areas where players do not level up or gather materials that at the same time have up to 3 channels and are not too wide like searching in pora elinu is harder than cliffs of insanity...

    Because people were demanding Snowflake Bombs in the Tera Discord. Ever since the one teaser, they gave earlier in the year a lot of people have wanted them. Some even asking for Perm ones like the Disco [filtered].
