In the past, complaining about drops and saying double-drop should be the norm was always met with tons of pushback from people saying things were fine and calling critics "casuals who want it easy." Ironically, most of those people didn't even play the game beyond a casual level themselves, and so they found it just fine when an event gave loads of loot to solo content or kalivan's challenge, but heaven help us if it came from a difficult dungeon that these people couldn't do. Then it was suddenly "unfair" and we were all "entitled babies" for enjoying it. But I digress. It's just surreal to come here and see people asking for double drop to be the norm and not being met with dozens of people saying that it's fine and pretending like they enjoy trapping for hours in LKHM with illiterate morons only to get a box they'll throw away, a box that'll contain garbage, and one (1) item that they need dozens of for it to even be useful.

Saddest part is, back when I and many others criticized the game for this, it was when EME had a full staff that wasn't split between this game and the console version and god knows what else. I remember when they used to bug Denominator about fixing drop tables and he'd actually go and do it. Hell, the staff used to respond regularly to forum posts in ways that weren't just corporate jargon, and it really blew my mind back then and made me want to continue giving feedback because it felt like it actually went somewhere back then, even if things weren't always perfect. That time was probably our best moment to actually see a change in the game akin to EU's system, but opponents of a better game came out in droves to pretend like things were fine, and in some cases to even criticize events until the devs nerfed them into uselessness, and now it's waaaay too late to do anything about it. Who's even working there anymore? A skeleton crew, split between multiple games, that's too afraid to even touch a double drop event anymore. But good job on the forum community finally coming around, I guess. Better late than never.

I'm going to go with an experimental AI and not a single real person.
