Haven't played in 2 years or so.

So, i wasn't a hardcore player back then, however i played tera daily.

Is it worth playing on NA? i've read in another thread that EU has more population.

I reached lvl 65 with this account and tbh i think i wouldn't mind to start fresh again. the problem is that my latency would be higher in EU, because im from Venezuela. Im not sure about this though. Would the ping increase or it should be the same as if i were playing on NA servers?

Ping would probably be significantly higher for you on EU servers unless you're using [coughs] programs that shall not be named to act like you have low ping.
Personally, I still think it's worth playing on NA. Gameforge has been satisfying their customers a lot more, but some of the major fiascoes NA had have mostly blown over. People will argue to the death about going to EU or not though. Give it a shot. As long as you don't spend money, you won't lose anything but some time invested in playing.

I cant remember exactly BUT, do i have to download tera or another patch if i want to change servers?

Or it is easy as just changing servers with a couple of clicks?

    Edit: Thanks for replying.

Whole new download from their site and whole new servers

Least getting back to cap and gearing over there is fast as hell since mats are 5x more abundant than NA
