Exploring tera and some of secret places :)

Actually, it still is possible! I can't share any details (because I don't have that many to begin with), but I talked to someone who is at least as big as a fan of exploring as I am and this person is currently trying to find their way back into the dungeon. They were getting really close but then made a mistake and fell through the map apparently... Showed me a few screenshots, so it definitely is possible! Just a lot more tricky than before.

About the dungeon itself - that's not really an "unreleased dungeon". It was once an Open World dungeon, much like the Citadel of Torment or the Hungry Caverns. The place this dungeon was in was the old Granarkus.

"The Old Granarkus, you sayin'? Watcha talkin 'bout?"
Easy! Before this game made it to the west and was still kinda fresh in Korea, the argon maps were still connected to the continent (I hope fellow explorers understand what I'm talking about). Granarkus back then looked entirely different and even had a small village.

"And how do you know about this?"
Youtube ♥ If you want to see this old Granarkus with your own eyes, type in -> "tera steparu los kaiana". The first two videos that should pop up are the ones you might want to check out!

Last but not least... I don't have anything to share, but I love exploring, even though I mostly watch videos instead of exploring myself, especially since the mount jump "feature" got fixed.

Oh yeah, since we are talking about exploring - does anyone know if it's still possible to get into the no man's land next to Scythera Fae? And does anyone know how to merge one of the argon areas with Tria? I saw a video long time ago, but I can't find it anymore and it only showed Argons up there where it's dark and rains (I think if you go west of Tria...)

I am not sure what no-man land you talk about. I guess this no-name land?

This area is supposed to be here according to the map but sadly not in the actual game. Northern Shara is a nightmare for mountain climbers as silly invisible walls are everywhere.

When flying mount is released more invisible walls will be setup in Northern Arun. My path to the other side of broken bridge near Timescape entrance is confirmed blocked.

i was trying to get in there today the whole place is walled up like a fortress all the places i knew to get in through are closed.
i decided to try and go all the way through granarkus but the map there is weird it ends in zulfikar fortress its like its not even in the same place as the rest of the map

the only weird thing i saw is this i.imgur.com/Ps5crRt.jpg?1 its behind the Three Towers in the void but there is a wall that i I can't pass through so i couldn't get any closer

i do wonder if they will ever release that open world dungeon it's been there forever and maybe bring back the small village and the area of the old granarkus right now val kaeli is to big to be just argonea and granarkus

Now this is something that I've not yet seen in my TERA life... This is beautiful! It reminds me of... Timescape? Kelsaik's Nest? They had floating objects in the background as well...

Well, I think they will never release anything Argon related, so you can count a re-release out for sure. The Argon storyline ended for the devs, we will probably never get behind the mystery that is Manahan and... I'm going off-topic, whoops.

I think it's more likely to see them releasing Baldera, although I wouldn't count on that either, seeing as they decided to make an entire new region on the northern continent instead of using the assets they already have. The no-man lands between the already established maps will most likely remain the way they are as well. I had a theory for that, but when I saw them completely destroying the Island of Dawn, I scrapped that idea.

About the land next to Scythera Fae - there was a thread on the old forums where they talked about it, back then it was possible to get near it using the mount jump trick, but that's not an option anymore... (not exactly related to this, but also a very good and interesting read is this thread: So it does exist.)

And about the argon areas - they are indeed not connected to the rest of the continent. It's also why Zulfikar Fortress/Argonea/Granarkus have no option to change channels. They are in their own realm, not connected to the rest of Northern Shara. I think this change was made because of the old Nexus...not sure, though =/

Also - sorry for my walls of texts, I always get excited when someone talks about my favorite TERA subject, haha

here's a not very exciting screenshot from an adventure in that no man's land. you can see the rainy section of towers and trees that is part of Tria but then! random argon mobs!

I used to explore out of bounds quite a lot. To see Argon foes in Tria you'd get over the invisible wall around the canyon north of tria, drop down into the water so that you're techincally in North Shara then Unstuck. You'd spawn under Tria but you'd see argon mobs everywhere instead of the usual NPC because Tera thinks you've unstucked to somewhere like Kanstria but loaded the Tria zone map.

You'd have to void jump to get back from under the map where you'd spawn so you can't really do it anymore without falling to your death.

Btw, i'm not gonna post it here incase it's against the rules but theres a simple keybind you can add into the config file that shows the outline of all invisible walls. Theres a really tall one on tria that spans the entire canyon and you can ride on top of it like a secret rainbow road. It's really useful for getting around and exploring. A simple google search would have you find it.

I haven't explored TERA in quite a while. I've always wanted to reach this mountain top but never could until today.

Wow, that's quite a view! Is that Vale of the Fang? Are you the one that asked fellow explorers on TR Global if they'd be interested in climbing the highest mountain in VotF? Too bad I was in the process of logging into another character, otherwise I would'e joined you! > <
  • Don't die, thread! D:

So yesterday I felt like randomly exploring and ended up walking underwater in Northern Arun. I got close to the lonely mini towers standing in the sea and saw Bathysmal Rise's entrance from the back!

Since I made a bunch of screenshots, I uploaded them. You can view them here:

I'm kinda sad, thinking that this is most likely not possible anymore, once we get the Ninja update... Because moar invisible walls inc.
