A question about Patch 80

  • now if only you you're going to complain, you're not going to win anything. As simple as that...

How is complaining get mixed up with something of a matter that I am simply worried about? I am worried about how others are going to keep up with the people who had a huge boost in gold after the patch hits. Do you even know how much you can do with 37 million gold in this game with the scrolls that you have? How about consider how many people who probably have that same amount that you have? What would that ensue within the economy? Absolutely nothing?

Do you think that the majority of players will get 37 million gold from their scrolls?

You are talking as if everyone is in that situation but guess what, most people will get less than 2 million from all their reset scrolls and you are worried by a handful of people that is going to get 37 million gold?

You only want to punish even more the casuals that have a way to feel less grindy the new patch because you may be those who are in control of the broker and dont want to lose a position in there. A player with more gold means more competition for you right? However most of this gold will sink when people start to use it for the upgrades on skills and gear/accesories. The amount of millions they will get will vanish in a matter of a week or a month at most and not because they will spend it on the broker but because they will need the gold for game progression.

You are only trying to kill even more the game with your nonsense.

I used that as an arbitrary number as a suggested possibility of the people who do have the such amount of gold more or less. Also how would you know that most people will get less than 2 million? Speaking from my experience, I run in a small endgame guild, and most of their time they don't really use their reset scrolls. What does that suggest about the average player? All of my guildies are all full +9 SC, and some are just full HO.

When last year May anniversary came around, the EMP prices have skyrocketed from the usual 1:45-35 before then to 1:70-90 as of now. That event provided double drops on every single weekend starting from Friday of May that which includes Ghillieglade as well. Not to mention Ultra-Hyper-Fire-Turbo Time which happens every week, every Tuesday which accelerated the income of many for Guardian Missions. Guardian Missions gives the maximum of 40 boxes which basically translates to a diamond, coupled with the fact that dungeon highlights at that time gave Master Crafter's Secret Additive which in turn gave double the profit, let's get into the fact that most people ran their dungeons with only that specific jackpot as well. This in turn made a huge inflation to the market. I do recall for instance that Airy was 400k-500k before the event dropped, now as of today it's 900k.

Forgive me that you thought I am one of those people that controls the broker but I don't. I only have a handful of 300k in bank right now. Sure, the amount of gold will vanish for people to use the gold for their progression but that is to assume all of them are actually progressing and not just being stagnant and only buying costumes and what not. When the anniversary event ended none of the EMP prices went down at all, so far I haven't seen anyone selling EMP for the price of 1:45 at the very least anymore. So I implore you, do you truly think that these reset scrolls which costs more than an emerald, a measly 10 of them could already outweigh the value of a diamond doesn't dent the economy? With the VG shop you can grab the most expensive reset scroll and have 10 of them already and still have left over VG credits.

You want to use a "small guild" where your guild mates are SC +9 or above as a reference?

Comon, I am in a full guild (100/135 active members this last week) and even if we have SC +9 and HO, the amount of members who are below SC +2 are the most and for them farming those Guardian Legion (just to mention the second easiest content to make gold) takes an hour or more because few people doing them.

I obviously won't share your idea about this because I know people from other guilds too and they are with lower gear than me and most of the best geared people on our guild. I would assume you only take the stance from the hardcores and gold whales in the game.

Entitled People = Don't give a lot of gold for scrolls, because a lot of other people have way more than I do, and it will mess up the economy.

I don't even have any scrolls, and I think giving a decent amount of gold for them is a great idea. Heaven forbid they reward elite players that logged in every day but didn't use their scrolls.
