steam weapons for new classes?

I'm just curious, and they don't have to be added to steam bundle (would be nice though), but do ya think there will ever be steam variant for the newer classes? I for one would love a steam-style gun!

Honestly, I don't think anybody can predict if they'll update it. They've already updated 2 weapon sets (ninja and wacky set) but there's no way to tell when/if they'll update more. And if they do update more, there's no way of telling which set will be next. I agree though. I'd like to have an arcannon in that set.

That would be really neat if it were to be updated for current classes that are without.
You can try to file a suggestion to En Masse so that they can forward it to Krafton.
  • If they do it I hope they update for free the account bound option too.
  • I reposted it in suggestions :P Hopefully it gets picked up!

Nice idea, but it more than likely won't happen due to the one steam bundle that they sold that gave you account-wide steam weapon skins. If they release gunner, reaper, valk, etc. weapon skins then they'd lose out on money from the people who could just claim them from the account tab.
Unless they didn't give everyone who bought the bundle the account-wide skins for the new weapons, in which case there would be a lot of complaining from people who bought the package.
Ultimately, it's a lose-lose situation for them so we probably won't see it.

Not necessarily, the people who bought the steam pack paid for what they got which is, every class weapon but ninja, valk, gunner, brawler. Those four weapons being separate would be acceptable, I think. (having personally gotten the steam pack strictly for the clockwork outfit) And the outfit works on everyone anyways, so they aren't missing out on a lot. ->they could also add a "add to pack" function for the four weapons at 500 or 1k emp so that they wouldn't lose out, and it wouldn't hurt the people who already got the pack.

I miss the times when people made games and things to add to games because they wanted to make games and not to try and gain immense profit from a dwindling playerbase (to say nothing of the "whales").

Anyone else miss those days? :disappointed:
  • Well, you need money to make games, and unfortunately creativity for games is at an all time low for the people who HAVE money. There are games that do have a successful system that doesn't revolve itself around gambling lootboxes(LOL), but I might get yelled at for advertising a different game lol. But if you look up successful f2p's, the one I refer to is listed among them. The idea is cooperating with their fanbase to create new cosmetics/provide cosmetics of their own. In addition, everything BUT the playermade stuff is earnable, and you suffer no major loss to spend the time to earn it. But the playermade stuff is legit to the point of paying for it is a choice you want to make :P But when a game is centered around "gacha", it's luck or nothing, and it's very annoying to people who have no luck for that type of thing xD
