BHS admitted in their latest Q&A that the reason why they are making it female only, is because more players play females, so females are more popular, and so they will go with whats more popular. It is sad, but that's the reality.

And how are players supposed to play males, if classes for them don't exist ?

^ This. It's why BHS' statement on why they won't create non-gender locked classes is absolutely ridiculous. Of course females are going to be played more when the most OP classes in the game are only available as females. If Popori brawlers had been a thing, I'd have made one in a heartbeat. Same with some of the other newer classes for various male races.

  • I don't actually think anyone wants a male only class, just a lot of people want the option to be male. Male only would just be a massive failure, low costume purchased, less players would play it, would overall feel shittier.

All these threads are essentially doing one thing...

    Beating on a dead leaf.

Seriously, let me redirect you all to the search tool where you can find at least several dozen threads on this already:

    http://forums.enmasse.com/tera/search?adv=&search=male+classes&title=&author=&cat=all&tags=&discussion_d=1&within=2+months&date=today

"several dozen threads"? If you bothered clicking the Next button, you'll see there're only 6 threads about this issue within 1 YEAR of TODAY, excluding spacecats' "Tera 2016 Review". Yes, we're doing the same thing you said "beating on a dead leaf" like what African slaves and women did during and after colonial time. It is desperate with no hope, but we want reformation.

    *cough*

Dont forget the old forums in this.

I'll say that I, alone, within a year have made 3-4 threads about male costumes, and ONLY males costumes. This doesn't add to the number of additional posts I've made for male classes that would be unique and fair to the Lore aspect.
Fact is there are FAR more than 6 regarding wanting equalized classes and costumes for the males.

Most of us Enjoy Elin classes, Infact that's the only Reason I Play Tera! I'm happy They choose almost all classes for Elins.

I Would actually be pretty sad if the next female class was not Elin because it would mean I could not play it. That Would make me sad :( I Don't play Castanics, Humans, barakas or Aman.

Btw what's Wrong with guys playing Elins? Are they not straight?? :O

Actually, most guys I meet that play Elins ARE straight. They're just wicked into the "loli" type, and would rather watch a female character from behind than a male, I guess. I had this one IRL male friend that only played human females, and he's straight as anything. It's like how a lot of girls pretend to be guys on the internet lm:open_mouth:

I have an abundance of Elins, but a female castanic and two human females. I don't have any male characters yet, but I plan on changing my Elin lancer to a high elf male once I get to tier 10 in the Rewards store, and buy one of those fancy helmets....:/ Gonna be a loooong time before that happens, lmao.

Im very much straight, i play elins, because i like their fast anymation and overall dynamic moves when fighting. Also as a warrior, i believe not every class can dodge and chain into Scythe, and i was told elins were a very good class to play warrior.

U dont have to be gay to play female races, lel, that's so wrong and stuff that 13yo say ^^

I think you guys have it backwards. Most guys who play female characters are straight; they play female classes because... well I think you can figure it out.

In fact if anything, there seems to be a strange perception that males who play male characters are gay... I don't think there's anything homoerotic about wanting to play as my own gender..? Always see guys saying "I don't want to stare at a male character's butt all day". Well neither do I. If you're spending the majority of your time staring at your character's butt, I think you might be playing the game wrong O.o

Or I guess you could argue that you're playing the game right, LOL :p different strokes I suppose.
