Mystic or priest,who and why?
I have both,played priest on PC back at 2013,still using one on ps4 and i have no regrets. Who is your favorite healer and why? I also maked this question on reddit. I think that priest have more and better heals while mystic can solo things and have better buffs.

True fact.
Buff wise mystic is better, but priest has kaia shield which can save lifes from a lot of mechs.
Mystic has relatively low self-healing, but priest has no such problem.
The difference mentioned above will get more evened out when awakening kick in.
Some dungeons r more mystic friendly (like RMHM) and others r more priest friendly (like LKHM)
Honestly, try both and find which one u like more.
Honestly i can not decide,both have pros and conts.
Since i play solo, i should use the mystic,however i play priest since on tera PC back in 2013 and still playing one on console.
Why not just play both?

Cus i do not have gold for both. Also after retest my human mystic i realyzed the i prefer it over the priest.

Mystics on the other hand are like the brawlers of the healers. Offensive healers. If a party knows what they're doing the auras, the thralls, the easier accessed debuffs turn the dungeon into a speed run.
But I noticed allot with both healers that it really REALLY does depend on party makeup. Like get on my priest and there's hardly anything to heal for the group. Wish I was Mystic. Get on mystic, they brand new and getting hurt allot and need extra protection. Wish I was priest. You get the idea.
Yeah i know the feeling,however since i play solo, i prefer the mystic. Also today i see the awakening of mystic and i like it a lot, except the new thrall who is ugly as hell.
The short version
Mystics are better in pve providing you are running with skilled players
Priests are better in pvp as their skills are a lot more defensive/supportive
The long version
Mystic are better for pve due to the power of their buffs as party members are able to stack less crit and more power, endurence debuff from volley is the same at priest but they also have contagion so enrage burn is better
Priests are great in pvp because of many skills they offer such as kaia's can shield a raid while increasing endurence and giving hp regen, also with an instant huge aoe cleanse, and the skill arise picking players up that have been knocked down, priests also have a lot of big aoe healing skills as well
Both can be good in both pve and pvp. However,i think that priest is better for pve. Think like this example in pve, the actual 3 man dungeon,dunno what gorge, you and another guy goes for the second boss,you both start to fight,but the third still not arrived,what you can do? The holy divine intervention can pull the third guy inside the area of the boss. Also the great kaias shield in kalivan challenge/dreadnought, thurderous wrath of the boss aim for a team member,what you can do? If you catch him/her in time,you can use kaias shield near him/her and save the guy/girl from a sure death.
More also,with gunners, you have insta mana recharge skill, for reload everyones mana,included yourself and the gunner. Finally the self ress skill and more and better heals.
In pvp i can only test the priest in duels, you can not kill much,but neither them to you. And in this camp,enters the mystic,dot who also stacks 3 times and have a defense reduction debuff,thralls,spamming attack skill who knockdown every time,permabuffs and megathrall who does insane damage. You can kill sorcerers like candyes with the mystic.
But at the end,like users said,is how you play your class in both pve and pvp who make you a good healer in both pve and pvp.
On reddit an user said that i need to use both and decide,well i just i can not decide,however since i will have gold only for one healer,my choice is the priest,just for having more chances to survive in pve (tested both)
In experienced groups, they will not go in without the full group rendering Divine Intervention not needed to pull someone in. In Kalivan's Dreadnaught, kaias is not needed, it's just nice to have if the team is out of position and won't make it to mitigate the damage. Experienced groups won't be caught out of position like that so kaias isn't a necessity.
As long as a nostrum is active, most classes will not need mana, and if they do, an experienced Mystic can read this and have their mana skill prepared as well as dropping motes. Mystic's Titanic Favor actually heals more than Priest's Focus Heal. Priest just has more AOE heal options. Mystics can also self rez themselves and give other group members a self rez, but again, in experienced groups it's usually not needed.
Kaias shield is always welcomed in any party, in the shattered fleet for example,when the last boss summons the 4 skeletons,kaias shield can help to mitigate damage versus the spheres,even experienced players can eat the spheres, and with the glyph who heal the users is more helpful.
Mana recharge is not necesaary always but when it does, is an instant recharge skill, the mystic have this skill but on a delay, and orbs not always ppl catch them,as i checked over and over.
Mystic can auto ress others with the ress skill,but the duration of the buff is 5 min and the cooldown is 15 minutes,3 less or so with a glyph. The auto ress skill of priest lasts 20 minutes and the cooldown is 5 minutes with a glyph,even without a glyph,the cooldown is less.
Finally,mystics are a more offensive option and priest is a more defensive one, since i will have gold only for one healer,my choice is the priest, at the end,healers are support.
Now,if you main a mystic is fine,but do not say you main a priest in a PM to me and later your preference is the mystic,and since you have changed your attitude,i do not like geminis people,so please,stfu and do not talk to me anymore,thanks.
Yes,mystics are good in pvp,and can eat sorcerers like candyes. Thrall of wrath do not 1 shot lancers but does huge damage to them. Btw priests can not kill much but neither they can not kill you with healthyself skill, with heal crystals you auto heal very good.
