Uhh.. so.. whats going on with the Tera store? why is it so.. barren?
Alright so, I'm going to start by saying I'm an on and off Tera player. I'll play Tera for a few months, then stop playing for a few months, then start playing again, rinse and repeat. The game has never been able to completely hold my interest fully but I do come back to it every now and then for a good time.
Admittedly, the last time I played may have been half a year ago? Quite awhile. So I decided to jump back into it today and start up a new class, see what's new, and maybe dec the class out with a costume and weapon skin while I explore some new content.
I hop onto the website to check out the Tera store and its.. wow.. the costume, weapon skin and accessories tabs are almost completely empty now.
There are some things in there but not nearly what the store used to have in the past I find, it's so devoid of costumes now and what IS there doesn't really catch my fancy for anything. Did the Tera devs actually strip content from their game? I don't really understand why any game dev would purposely harm their own microtransactions system like that. I do see that the loot box tab is doing very well, is it safe to assume that Tera maybe shifting their content away from direct buy to gambling now? If so that's not a really cool thing to do.
I want to support Tera but not through loot boxes and gambling, but right now with the Tera Store looking so empty, there's really nothing for me to buy.
Is it just me maybe? Am I missing something here?
