Hello everyone.



Recently heard bad things about Tera in multiple ways, but I'm still coming back. Though, I've lost my old acc, I'ma make a new one and just start over.



What's the current population?
Still lack of heals/tanks as always?
TR still most populated server?
What changed from last time when RMH first came out (cleared 77+) to now?

Things to know when starting?

What to spend EMP on? (Probably $50-100, including elite)

Any KR community site that I can reach out to in NA server? Am Korean myself.

    Kaiator (PvP) and Velika (PvE) are the only servers remaining with Velika having more population than Kaiator.

    Do not spend your money on lootboxes.

    Current population numbers? hard to say, only EME has that info, but Velika server is always active.
    Tanks and Healers are always on demand. Now you shouldnt have problems finding one, tho at late hours, is when there isnt any.
    TR is gone. Velika is the new TR.
    A lot changed. You will have to dive in and experience it yourself. The most noticeable change? lvl 70 cap i suppose, which is a grindfest.

    Tips for starters? What i always tell every new and returning player: Do not spend gold on the broker, most things are overpriced. Instead, whatever reward you get, specially gold and silver talents, keep half, sell half, you make good gold that way, and will serve you to upgrade your gear. Also, Hoard everything, all of the materials for enchanting you no longer use, hoard it all, it will come handy later on, trust me on this one.

    EMP? If you want, you can buy elite, and some bank slots, character slots. Not much you can make use of in the EMP shop. The rest? Sell EMP for in game gold. Right now in Velika, people are buying EMP for 100 gold per emp point, so you will make loads of gold that will once again, serve to upgrade your gear, buy kits to make plates and more.

    I just returned after 5 years, and Id suggest using a Buddy Up code, mainly to get the free auto loot pet and 30 day atlas. Pets are ridiculously expensive on the broker now compared to back in the day.

    I started in Feb, made a Valk, level 66 now on Velika Server.
    Population is fine, no problems finding parties. Stay away from Tanking if you're not familiar with the current game.

    Here's what I found helpful:

    1. Sell your EMP for Gold: As stated by another poster: Don't spend EMP on Anything.

    2. Also as stated, use a Buddy Up code. Lots of useful free gifts.

    3.Join a Guild. This is a must. Some require Level 65. Refer to Point #5.

    4. Save Gold and Silver Talents, Emeralds and Diamonds. You'll need lots. (for upgrading gear)
    Sell Rubies for Gold.

    5. Get through 1-64 quickly. The game begins at 65.
    For me, I used all the Federation XP Boosts the game gave me: 50%, 1 hour, Just use them all. Don't "save them for later". Have an XP Boost on all the time. Use Attack Potions (esp. 1-64 level limited ones)to kill stuff faster.
    It helps a lot.
    At 65, you will get your End-game gear in Highwatch. You want to breeze through the game from 1-64.

    6. Save your Gold!
    Tera has a lot of "Fancy" peripherals that you don't really NEED - Mounts, Costumes, pets, wings, purple glowing sticks, panda heads, blah blah. Stay away from them!
    I wore the standard Armor from 1-65. At 65, I had saved enough Fashion Coupons to get my first Costume from the Fashion Store. All with spending 0 gold.

    Joining a guild is the best advice. Find a group of cool people to play with and they can help you. The game can be overwhelming solo, and a lot of people give up. My guild helps new players that are lost all the time.
