Tera's current state since Patch 80
I've come across this thread in the Tera GF forums and i'm curious about the thoughts of the na community in this matter. I know there has been some discussion and threads about it but most are particular to each sub-topic of their own so i wanted to hear out, perhaps create discussion about what would be the whole state NA tera players see the game going. Open a thread for feedback to be given(even though i personally find it pointless for that purpose, but still interesting).
I don't really wanna give my thoughts on this since i feel the topic from the other publisher's forums reflects most of them with enough accuracy and even better that i could alone do, i agree with them. So really i'm just inviting readers and opinions to come along on here as well.

I tried out a completely fresh character on a different server a few years ago, without Elite. After hitting 65, I VERY QUICKLY hit a total progression brick wall. I had no dungeon entries left after a very short amount of play time, so couldn't get any more gear or enchanting mats. I couldn't do IOD because my item level wasn't high enough, but I couldn't get a higher item level because...I couldn't do IOD to get the necessary mats for it in the first place. I very quickly realised that after just an hour or two of play, there was absolutely no reason to remain logged in. It was quite eye opening.
Now it seems the other way around - there's no shortage of dungeon entries available to a new player at the low end, but anyone at the higher end of the scale gets completely shafted. As for what there is for people at the higher end to do when their dungeon entries run dry...well, if fishing or grinding thousands of weak-as-[filtered] BAMs is BHS' idea of engaging content, then they should move on to making an actual farming simulator instead.
