Archer rotation w/o rapid fire
Hello guys. I started playing back on my archer some time ago, got used to rotations, priority skills etc. but there are some "gaps" where i do nothing and loose way too much dps, the gaps which should be times of using rapid fire, but due to my 150 ping I can't really use this and I am thinking about what option is the best. I was thinking about:
1.Poison arrow+radiant arrow
2. Incendiary trap+breakaway bolt
3. Arrow volley+penetrating arrow
4. Final salvo+penetrating arrow
5. Stunning trap (canceled)+penetrating arrow
Since We haven't got enough glyph points and can't have everything I'm wondering what is going to increase dps the most. Any experienced archers willing to share their knowledge? ::pleased:

anyway archer one of the worst classes for high-ping, even ur charge skills f**ked completely. I've compared 40 and 200 ms archer and there is like 30-40% dps difference...
1) Decent I guess, but boring and even risky with that horrible poison arrow anim.
2) Good if you know when to use it (aka the boss isn't going to move/turn, must face boss back when incendiary explodes).
3) I don't think lock on skills are great with that ping, and volley is meh even with low ping.
4) This glyph is my favourite even with low ping, the most natural to me
5) Don't think it's effective with your ping, personal opinion, I find it akward to use (final salvo glyph lasts long enough to me)
Tbh I would not even play archer with high ping just because half your kit is ping dependant, so your are left with overcharging or clunky combos. I don't think that the DPS loss is huge (Pomchi never uses Rapid fire and does great DPS) but it makes the class very boring. It will become more of a handicap when Rapid fire get its crit buff... (basically becomes a main skill)
RoA > TB (Ensnaring every other time) > FS cancel > ET > RA (hold charge longer if need be ) > FS cancel > CQ > BB > PA > restraining arrow

you must not overcharge in any PA or RA, the idea of this rotation is to maximize the number of RoA/ET casted since they have the highest dmg/casttime of a high ping archer
when the fix on the crit chance comes for RF, replace PA with RF if below 180ms
Pretty much what everyone has said is correct. Max RoA time, keep ET debuff on, use PA/RA to reposition.
Personally, my rotation is
Stunning trap arrow > Veliks > RoA > Ensnaring Trap Arrow >Incendiary trap arrow
Then depending on if it's a mobile enemy or not, I'd use Thunderbolt/FS > PA > Restraining Arrow > RA (FS should be of cd by now)
or
CQ > Incendiary trap > (can add stunning trap if you're soloing and want extra back time to cast TB) > Breakaway bolt (facing the opposite way so I land behind > and either TB if I 'm facing the back, or PA (if you have PA powerlink glyphed, you can cast TB/FS and still have time to cast PA with the buff)
Regardless of which rotation I use, all trap arrows and RoA should be off CD (about 12-15 seconds depending on glyphs/charms/nostrum).
Keep in mind, I've got all the rare glyphs so I've also got enough points to glyph CQ damage, incendiary trap damage and Breakaway bolt powerlink to PA and stunning trap arrow CDR.

Yup, at anything above around 100ms, rapid fire shoots at the same rate as just holding down the basic-attack button.
