Open the quest log (L) and click the trash can to abandon the quest if you got one you don't like, then reaccept the quest from the npc. Keep doing this until you get the task you want, there is no penalty. Just thought I'd make this post in case the people I see doing the level 67 trees and machines read this.

    I do the trees and I use that tactic tbh. x2 quest trees with carnages and the stolen suplies. I can do It all in the same place.
    As a priest I dont feel like killing 20+ basilisks, trees are better for me since i can reset edict easily.
    Thanks for the heads up tho, i bet there's a lot of people that dont know that! : D

    you can also do on the lvl 69 one, i do it untill i get baslisks, since it`s easier for me to kill them, so i usually try to get every 67 and 69 to be basi.
