Client Freezing when using Elite Buffs

    I tried to reproduce with these steps (level 65 character, assign to hotkeys, place on a skillbar) and still can't reproduce. In the interest of being complete, what specific key do you have it assigned to? Did you reassign the keys on the hotbar? Also, does it matter where you do it? (i.e. open world? dungeons? battlegrounds?)

    Happens everywhere, outworld, dungeons, anywhere the items are usable.

    It happens in open world and dungeons for sure; not sure about CS since I don't use them there. I have them on F keys on all my characters (not the same ones - priest has F4/F5, mystic F2/F3, and the rest of my DPS F1/F2). I'll try putting them on different hotkeys now and see if it still does it.

    It happens on every character I own, for me.

    Edit: Changing hotkeys doesn't make any difference, and neither does moving it to a hotkey on my main bar (I always have them on my extra hotkey bar). There seems to be no exception to how it happens for those of us experiencing it, as far as I can see.

    Edit2: The person who said it has to be on your skillbar is correct. If you remove them completely from your skill bar and just right click the icons on the elite bar, it won't freeze your client. Having them on your skillbar and right clicking them on the elite bar still freezes your client.

    That exact thing happens to me too. Get a little bit of lag before I use them. I guess it's not that bad since it's only a split second. But still...I sometimes run into people who use the elite bar because of this, and they end up porting themselves to ghillieglade...

    Are you guys using cooldown timers? I wasn't using cooldown timers before, and had no issues. When I turned them on, I had this issue, then turned them back off and it works fine again.

    I do use cooldown notices, turning them off did stop most of the lag when using these keybound. But it still feels like there's a little lag there, might just be my imagination.

    But yeah, it seems Cooldown Notices are the problem with these.
