Raising The Floor, Lowering The Ceiling, Suffering in The Middle
One of the last grinds I was actually looking forwards to in TERA was the grind to level 70. It was the final challenge the game had for me that wasn't a personal struggle to prove myself as a PVPer or against RNG or slowly growing my power and endurance through Skill Advance.
Where I was halfway between levels 69 and 70 I have now 184% EXP, in the middle of an event designed to push players towards max level I shot through the roof.
I checked up on an alt and discovered Stormcry has become much easier to enchant...in the beginning. I got to +7 through the normal weight of RNG and +8 during the last event (the event was cutoff 5 hours short before I could try +9). Looking at my disc again today the odds have hardly improved and the cost is pretty much the same. The grind I worked at so hard has been made a million times easier up until the point that I reached and from there it is just as difficult.
Now that I've been gifted level 70 there is very little incentive for me to dungeons anymore. If I want skill experience I do caiman. I don't see plates dropping at all in dungeons...so it's pretty much pointless.
