I'm responsible for many of the title names. My personal favorite is "Doctor."
Side note: Shiny is probably one of my least favorite words. Right behind "magic stone."
We all know Manahan might be up to something. We known Shandra Manaya's popular last words.
Does Dakuryon and what he is doing have ANYTHING AT ALL to do with Manahan? Any links? Any alliance? Any sought out abilities to trigger something?!
& If you want to answer....
What advice would you give us roleplayers/fanfic writers who branch to fill in the gaps where the storyline/Lore doesn't cover? Are there any "please do" ideas that you enjoy reading about that isn't canon to the Lore/storyline?
Will there ever be an official lore page on the TERA website? and i'm not talking about the Lore page on the website which subdues itself to three summaries that only amount to cliffhangers. i noticed that Taiwan, Japan, and Korea (previously) have their own detailed lore page explaining things from the publisher perspective. Though each lore is slightly different between regions, it makes it easier to those new to the game delve into the localized lore. right now, there is only a player-based collection of lore on the forums salvaged from multiple sources which may be deemed "official" depending on how you perceive it as... and even that collection is full of plotholes and missing details having players to infer stories from other regions to roughly "make sense" of what's going on.
I would like a lore page which could explain how Baharr's corpse lays vomitting lava from its mouth at Frymount, what the core conflict was between High elves and Wind elves (which Wind elves aren't even mentioned in NA), how Manahan became imprisoned and what he wanted to accomplish through Shandra Manaya, what the evil god Lok's intentions were if it is true that he helped Kaia free the enslaved Amani, how the reptilian god Lakan became imprisoned and is continuing his reign over the Archdevans with his blood stone, and so on...
I feel that TERA lore has much more potential than how it currently is displayed and i would hate to see it go to waste and become something like Batman vs. Superman where they randomly become allies using "Martha" as a magic keyword.
Thank you!

Who is your favorite God/Goddess? (I looooove Oriyn, the god of Knowledge that helped the Baraka go from Giants to... well... Baraka)
If you were to live somewhere in the world of Arborea, where would you live? (I would live in Highwatch, hahaha.)
What is the meaning of the Oracle Cave in Northern Arun? (Tiana from MT found said cave, credits to her for doing so)
Dakuryon has the rank of "Magus Imperator" (Imperator: Notable General in Roman) of the Archdevas, he is seemingly not the real emperor of the archdeva empire, does this mean that Lakan is somehow the ultimate leader while there are more Imperators in the empire or is it just Dakuryon?
On the newer Dungeons, there is a prisioner named Randun, what happened to him after we talk to him? Does he transform into something?
On the Demokron Factory, Dakuryon´s Notes say that Verno was made out of Banyakas seeds, but in the official secrets and shadows page it says that he is a former scientist that was transformed, which one is the correct version? or is it somehow both?
Sorry for all these questions, I am probably one of the biggest lore nerds on TERA, I like to nitpick on dialogues everywhere, and I love the Lore in this game, hope you light some answers to these questions, because man I want to know! Also, thanks for reading.
Sadly, the Writing Team's urgent tasks have prevented us from creating lore pages for quite a while.
Creating website pages involves more resources than just the Writing Team, too.
Perhaps, if there's enough interest, I could find a way to drop more lore to you guys on the forums on a regular basis. Trouble is... a lot of the lore of the gods is all stories told from generation to generation. You can count on these stories to be as factual and consistent as any myth.
While Lok's done some pretty wretched things, I have a hard time characterizing him as evil. He's the artistic and creative god, mostly interested in amusing himself, and his artistic temperament is volatile and often bothers his relatives, so some consider him a trickster god. But when the gods need something fashioned—artifacts to hold power, keys to heaven, artifacts to break shackles—the gods turn to Lok. Even if Lok doesn't like the god requesting a creation, he usually can't resist making something someone says is impossible to make. If the myths say Lok aided Kaia in freeing the amani, you can count on it being a really awesome device Lok couldn't help but craft.
Everyone knows the magic key word is "Manahan."

Everything characters in the game know about the gods comes from stories handed down generation to generation. So I'm sure folks from different areas of the world will all have different versions of each myth.
I love seeing the same story told from different perspectives, and TERA gives us a great place to do that.

Scholars versed in the gods would tell you that Karas had three divine children, all notable: Balder, god of the sun; Ishara, goddess of the night; and Lok, the creator god (or demon-god, if you're not fond of Lok). Those scholars would understandably look at the three paintings and assume they represent Karas' children. Those scholars would be wrong.
The building in Yana's Timecore sat / will sit outside of time and its history may be our future. As Yana was attempting / will attempt to unmake/remake the Dream, I suspect the three images are of the titans Arun and Shara, plus another major player...possibly, Manahan. Or I could be wrong and they are of things yet to come. Yana is cryptic and evading the question.
Zenobia, goddess of the wind. I just want to fly!
In a flying castle! With a view of mountains and water. That's why I love living in the Pacific Northwest so much.
I'll answer more later!

Maybe an "official" wiki could be used instead. Using the game accounts so people that want can contribute too.
Was hoping for something like this to come to light with the Player Council
So does the big book I read about on the developers log a long, long time ago actually exist
Can you give us some insight into how time is recorded in Tera and how it compares to earth time. There seems to be some Tera Characters that have lived much longer than yo would expect.
Any chance there will ever be some more Tera Short Stories like those available from Amazon.
Last but not least, I love your teams work there are so many gems out there that players never see and ones that have been removed from the game that are gone but not forgotten.
Do you mean the TERA Chronicle? No, that totally doesn't exist. Never did. Not a thing. Truly.
I won't say never, but I can say not in the near future. We put a lot of effort into the short stories, for not a lot of return. EME's strength is video games, so right now our focus is there. But maybe if we grow big enough...
