Unable to connect to game server

I wonder if this has anything to do with the test going on lately? Cause this never happened before.

Here is part of the log:

Aside from what it says in the diagnostic, what problem are you having when you try to enter the game itself? Does the launcher give you an error code when you try to launch the game?

nope, nothing at all, just stuck in server screen, can't enter server

edit: problem solved by GM, please close this topic if needed, thanks
  • Glad it was fixed. In case it happens to anyone else, if you're stuck on the server screen and can't enter any server, it usually means you're missing a patch. Worse case, if restarting the launcher doesn't fix it, you might need to delete the Live2-launcher.version file from your install folder to force the launcher to self-update. Otherwise, you could have a problem connecting to a bad patch server, and you should probably send a ticket so they can find the culprit.

    It's from 2018...

  • sry margaret and ty for reply... but I'm trying to play TERA again and the servers dont enter...

  • All those instructions were for the old TERA Launcher so they won't work anymore.

In the EME Launcher you should currently see this information:

If you see something else and the Game Repair function doesn't work, you can try deleting the file called "en.meta.json" in your Client subfolder (insider your TERA install folder) and then restarting the launcher. (Failing that you could try deleting tera.meta.json as well, though it may reinstall the game.)

If for some reason you don't have the EME Launcher at all and you still have the old TERA Launcher... it won't work anymore. You should download the new launcher here:
    http://tera.enmasse.com/download

You can point to your existing install.

Anyway, I have to lock this thread due to the bump, but please feel free to create another thread if you're still having issue after trying the above.
