Slaughter for PVP?

As the title says, i'd like to equip my reaper with budget pvp gear.. so can I use any slaughter pieces instead of conflate for PVP and vice versa can I use some conflate for PVE?

    Do you do battlegrounds? If so stack up your credits and make starfall. It's the same tier but better overall.

    The only decent piece of slaughter for PVP is the Weapon, rest is crap.

    Slaughter is ok-ish, but Conflate is pretty easy to make (enchanting success is about the same as Slaughter too) and better for PVP.

    Conflate for PVE... well it does twice the damage of Dreadnaught, but it seems to be below Slaughter with PVE rolls (enraged dmg, dmg, etc). Defense is somewhat weaker too, what with dmg reduction % being for pvp only...

    Maybe full Conflate and a Slaughter weapon for PVE as a budget setup?

    Starfall is best hybrid (not counting Imp), but you'll need to +15, which is a lot of resources.

    If you are legitimately farming for PvP, just build conflate.

    If you are farming for PvE, make full slaughter/starfall or keep yourself in dreadnaught if you are not intending to do the later dungeons and just want to farm for PvP. Since if you are farming for PvP sake Dread (with at most +12 slaughter wep) is more than enough to do the basic IoD dailies and grind dungeons.

    Slaughter does more damage than Dreadnaught for PvP but has lesser PvP defence, hence some players still hold onto their dread armor for PvP.

    In short, it is hard to get the best of both worlds without farming for Starfall.

    Keep in mind that Conflate boots will lose their PvP defense next update.

    Even Starfall +12 would be a viable option for certain pieces (like the boots.).

    If you want a mid tier for pvp/pve make conflate gloves, boots and belts everything else slaughter.

    pvp gloves, boots and belt are better than slaughter for pve (more modifiers and the only diff on stats are the pvp stats).

    while ur building conflate you want to mix dread and conflate. you DO NOT want any slaughter, the only thing it has is pve rolls, keep ur slaughter that you have for dungeon runs and have presets

    How is conflate chest for pvp compared to slaughter/dread? I am 4/5 sf and dread chest, was hoping conflate chest is better than dread so I can use it for PvE

    With next update you mean the one we are getting soon? With DS3 class balance and stuff?

    @empchamp With the gear you have, conflate chest would be best (after next update.)

    Conflate chest is better for PVP, no doubt.

    Slaughter has hybrid rolls, yo.
