Username Change not working?

I have gone through the process of changing my public username, but it hasn't taken effect yet. Is there any reason this should be happening, or should I be worried?

    Try sending a ticket if it isn't working. The name might be taken or might not register for the time being.

    I know it's a bit delayed, according to a few ppl i know who changed theirs and had to wait a bit for it to register.
