Imagine a Lv65 getting owned by a Lv1~64
First that it's not really a big problem. Swapping to a new channel helps prevent getting ganked while leveling. Also there are just as many white knights out there as there are pkers. Ask your friends to come help. It wouldn't take much since most people pking are either alone or in small groups.
Next is that the more popular leveling areas could use a boost in the number of channels they have. EmE should verify that Arcadia, Val Oriyn, Sylvanoth (devas), and Val Tirkai (mugatos) all have at least 10 channels. Currently Arcadia and Val Oriyn do seem to have that many but for at least the start of the new patch it'd be nice to see an increase for Sylvanoth and Val Tirkai, too. This spreads out the people who just want to mob grind and makes it harder for pkers to chase people down. I know last patch some guilds were able to wipe and hold these areas for all three channels.
Another solution would be to disable pvp in low level zones for a certain amount of time. It could be turned on the following Tuesday after patch release. This isn't ideal to me since open world pvp is a reason why people choose a pvp server over a pve one. However if ganking was really that bad I guess it would be the quick and easy way to get it to stop.
He got banned already once, tho it wasn't permanent. There are some rules in the Rules of Conduct that can be linked to Ganking, which is what Mudkip does for his own amusement, and to make the life of new players impossible. I highlighted the important parts:
lol, EVE has one server. And unless you like to mine asteroids all day, everyday for months, you're gonna need to go to lowsec, get killed like a scrub, lose your stuff and called an idiot for not staying in high sec.
Tera, you can go with a PVE server and still have gvg, battlegrounds, alliance, duels and whatnot. That's their player protection.
Also those videos are hilarious
You can hire me for 30k per hour for my bodyguard services. Contact me at LOT @ Lunera.
I really don't like when a high level pk a low level, but this isn't only a player fault. Rules of Conduct are just a wall of text for some persons and if the game allow it, why some texts will prevent them from doing that?
If BHS wants they can make it happen:
Anyway, instead of make a new broken class to disturb even more the game balance... BHS could have be working in something like the dynamic level adjustment of GW2, this would have many more uses than a new class.
Godspeed Mudkip.
But i would totally love a superbuff ala kaia buffs to low levels that only works against other players...
Can you see the Tears and Salt of level 65 killed by a mere level 11? can you imagine the Joy and the <Salt>.
But enmasse cant crush their gankers little hearts or can they?.
Still good luck to new Ninjas on pvp servers remember to get <Salt> so you can link it after being ganked.
I still like those videos Mudkip have, they're pretty funny! At the same time, gotta make sure it doesn't go too far though. Hopefully I'll be able to get into some OW PVP action after the class release. This will probably be the patch to revive OW PVP for a while for those trying to fend off outlaws with their genocide plan.
shrugs
Sometimes we also forget to change channels at times and whenever you go into certain areas, you automatically go back to ch.1.
