Some certain stuff which are stopping players from playing haven't been fixed
A year ago, I was active, Gunners came with steam players, crowded, many players joined, but that stopped, now after a year, players are there but not as many we had a year ago. Why? lets talk about it. BHS is not very smart, I blame them more than EME, EME actually fixed some issues in a good way and I believe in some matters the game is in a very good shape but some old problems are around and seems that no one cares. I don't want this to be a [filtered] thread so with every stuff I mention I try to give a suggestion to solve it and I hope others too, because Tera is good to play. Things that happen in Ktera can approve that things can really go bad.
Note: I have more than 30 chars around Tera, why? I love the different animation and I love the combat action in this game. Non-Target is a beast and this game has it best. and This is the reason many players including me are around. So when I am here and complaining it's because I love this game and participated in it by my time and my money and also I supported it in my own way. I don't say Tera is dead that is ridiculous if anyone says that but I say it will lose its ground with big games coming up and that is why I am here.
Now I am gonna mention the problems I have and I saw others have, it is easy in Tera to know what community thinks, we all know that and that is why I am kinda mad because being in chats and reading and listening could solve a lot of problems by now easily.
BIGGEST PROBLEM: RNG
We all know about it, it comes from enchanting, lootboxes, strongboxes, masterworking, opening sea chests and other stuff. Controlled RNG is OK, but what we have here is not controlled, and unfortunately we have a bait in this game and that is the GLOBAL AD when someone gets something or done something.
Jackpots for example, this new one, some people like me call it baitpot, I bought 50 keys, they are overpriced, I am talking about EMP price by the way, got nothing much, wasted money and time, couple of friends bought more than 200 and no jackpot, [filtered] THIS GAME I heard and they left, you might make money and we might see the bait ads but remember that making constant money is better than this. EME you are not learning, I know you need to make money, I know you want to give mats to the game and for the players, I know you have good intentions but this RNG needs to be controlled. A year ago I opened around 100 Lootboxes for Ninjato, didn't get a single decent item, made me so angry that stop spending a dime on the game. what changed after a year that I came back? Nothing.
Etching as an another example, If you don't crit, you wasted everything, even with additive you are depended on RNG, after those 100 loot-boxes, I said let me at least cover the losses, 3 attempts for enchanting perma etch III, with additives and still failed, 3 times and that was me leaving the game. 10 months, I didn't spend any dime on the game, on that time I didn't participate on anything, was I alone? No, it was many, you can clearly see that.
Other examples, awakening, or enchanting, even masterworking, sometimes RNG mess with you hard that you pass 2K feedstock for enchanting dreadnought weapon or pass 50 attempts to master work it. and Awakening that can pass +150 times. RNG again in here is out of control.
What is the solution, it is easy: CONTROL THE RNG
About Keys: lower the price, talking about EMP, Fix a number for jackpots, the normal jackpots and the events, if you got a jackpot on your 1st box, lucky you, if you didn't, you will have a jackpot after 15 attempts if you didn't get any for normal jackpots, 20 attempts for event jackpots. You leave the RNG and luck for lucky players, also you put a limit for unlucky or when RNG goes mad so people don't rage. keep the numbers checked for each server, not account so you can keep making profit.
Lootboxes: Exactly the same as keys for strong-boxes, 150 EMP per lootbox is also needs to be a bit cheaper. You put a limit if people couldn't get it by any numbers, for example, we keep the count of lootboxes opened in one server, not account, so you can make the benefit like I said before. Ninja Twin swords are 995 for example, you put a number for lootboxes to a new hidden price, lets say 2200 EMP for example, so it will be like 20 lootboxes and you will get that for sure if you weren't lucky to get it before. This again also keeps players happy and happy players spend more money and you make more profit over the time.
Enchanting and Masterworking: Same as before, we need to control the RNG, how? We keep a max number for each set of gear and piece, for example: Dreadnought weapon, you set the attempts for masterworking at 10 times, so if RNG went wild players don't get rekt, and you set 1200 feedstock max for enchanting it to +12, we lower the number for boots and gloves. And each higher set we give higher numbers, this way we controlled RNG. You can do it with 600 feedstock and if you got unlucky, don't worry you don'y have to use 2.2K feedstock for enchanting Dreadnought weapon.
Etching craft: How about we create 2 or 3 sets of Etch for each rank, what do I mean? If you didn't do a crit to craft a tier II etch, you get a weaker one, if keen II has 12 crit factor for example, you get a perma 8 crit, you got a perma, you might sell it cheaper but still you weren't screwed over by RNG. This can help players and you, additives can be sold even more for artisan and master crafting, when people are sure they will craft etch, also it helps all kind of player have any kind of perma etch for their sets at any price. It is a good solution.
Added: Also each time you reach a jackpot or special item, that hidden number resets.
2nd big problem: Class balances
Look I was playing MOBA, I know new releases are always strong, to make money and also numbers needs to be adjusted, but come on this is MMO, a player who loves lancers shouldn't be rekt by new releases, it was an example, Ninja class is incredibly OP in PVP, and in my opinion also easy to play, that can create a bad taste in some players which love other classes, older classes, that can drop players, so if you thing releasing extra OP classes gonna make you money, you better think twice. In this matter I am not a restricted PVP player, not even so good with numbers and balance stuff, so other players, you can help me on this matter and give some suggestions.
For example: About Zerks, a bit lowering the HP cost to overcharging can really help.
Important Note: Do not buff other classes mindlessly so the game turns to an easy and boring game. Mind this or again this balancing can drop players.
Gear progression problems: New gears and sets
I know that gears should be upgraded, it is a very common sense, But when you made T6 sets useless, that hurts, my full disco sets for my chars and all the Etch and stuff got rekt, if you wanna upgrade give a room to use older gears, for example, give an in game item so that can unbound the Dyads from gears, and make that those gears can be sold to merchant for an amount of gold, so it can help a bit the player, specially players that can't spend much time or have many alts.
Class releases and Race/gender Lock problem
First of all, BHS failed with Ninja as they failed with reapers, my opinion and many more which I saw and red.
I like gender/race lock, it is necessary, but it needs to be done carefully and smart, Gunner race/gender lock was smart, 2 race and female gender, it fits them. Ninja however, nope, We all know majority of fam here play and choose Ninja, but again you better thing clearly, all people doesn't like being Elin all the time or being forced, Reaper Elin was a good move, but reaper imo need overall change and needs to start from level 1 but not from the Isle but the forest as it starts now, anyway Castanic females and males are good choices for being a Ninja, both physically and mentally and the passive wise, back crit and soft landing, that tells me a ninja ready class. Make it happen EME, force that idiot BHS for it.
Female Costumes problems: : Cash Store and in game fashion armors and all
Having half naked, full naked, a bit naked, short shorts, See through, Upskirts and stuff like that are good to have but not as the only option. Let me be honest, Brawler armors and in game costumes want me to smash my keyboard, because they are all look the same. I know many doesn't like much to play for this matter. Look at Ninja costumes for males and then compare them to females. keep those slutty ones but also gives us the real ones.
BHS is making a huge mistake, TERA is a FANTASY ACTION GAME, not PORN FANTASY GAME. Sorry but I see no other way to yell at them on this matter, I wanna wear a real female cup dress, I want a real ninja dress, a real Samurai dress, as I said keep these ones too, I can't stand naked Elin or sexualized Elin, It is me, I don't say no to it, but give an option to me to have in game costumes and store costumes for my own taste too, release new ones with current trends that some likes but remember give us the diversity and multiple choices by releasing the kinds missing like couple of example I gave, it needs to be done fast. as an example: Everyone in the game consider Femani Pirate costume one of the best costumes in game ever, why? Just look at it and you get it.
Anyway, they were my points, might be more but these are vitals, very that needs to be fixed, adjusted and addressed soon, not because I say, nope, because there are issues for everyone. I love this game, that is why I spent 1 hour to write this and gather and think about fixing stuff, I hope we see changes and I hope you guys support this thread to support this game.
EME fixed many stuff, reward points, daily rewards, calendar and many other stuff added are great, I like the current status of the game very much, best Tera I might say it is what we have now but we can make it better and bring players back and hell bring more players. SO PLEASE LISTEN TO WHAT HAS BEEN SAID. Sorry for multiple caps but you good people and one of my favorite companies need to listen.

About the outfits, check the fashion coupon shop for less skin flashing outfits. There's a good deal of skin show on some, but there's also a few well covered ones as well. Mostly leathers. I personally didn't like femani pirate outfit. In fact I don't like any of the cash shop outfits for femani but I love many of the armors. That's just my opinion though. I'm saying this so you can be more careful when using the word "everyone" next time.
That everyone was to point that we all have our own opinions as you said, so how about more options.
Suggestions:
- Entice 65s to explore the world more (Not sure how, but you can think of something
- Give rewards for world kills and maybe add player kill quests
- Adding a night sky wouldn't hurt

I know that everything I've said sounds crazy, but these are just some suggestions off the top of my head. I will write more when I find the time. Thank you for reading this and PLEASE CONSIDER all of what has been said on this page. Thanks again.

As far as masterworking and enchanting goes, I love the fact that the RNG is all over the place. I spent 70k last night trying to +12 my slaughter weapon and chest piece and still only got my chest to +10. But, that's ok. Now I have more to farm for, more to grind for, more to look forward to. I personally don't mind the grind, but I know I'm in the minority there. Also, a guildy of mine masterworked an item on the 2nd attempt. RNG goes both ways as we all know.
I don't really understand your issue with gear progression, personally. If tier 11 is released and you have +15 tier 10, then it shouldn't take you as long to acquire the new set. You do have an advantage. It's your gear. Enchanting a new end-game set will be expensive like it always is, but you can either take the time to make it happen or not. I don't think players really need an extra advantage.
What if you have multiple chars in multiple calss? would you say the same? The current system is against players with multiple characters, I am not talking about two or three. I got my alts DN set, soon they will be outdated, would be so hard for me to bring them back to speed, 10 lvl 65 alts.
So a balance for the new gears needs to be done, where T6,T7 gears now? They are absolutely outdated, it goes to masterworking and enchanting too, that is why I set you set the limit higher as the tier rises. For a DN I shouldn't pass 1K feedstock for example for my weapon, for slaughter we make the numbers higher, this way restricted players won't lose ground and effort to gain their higher gears and players like me with multiple chars also can have a decent gear for sometimes and not much wreckage to gear them all up.
