Will we lose the remaining catalysts after the event?

After that time, any catalysts previously earned or purchased will be erased from your inventory and from the Welcome Window's catalyst balance.

It says it'll be erased from my inventory, and all the ones I have saved up will too be erased. Is this really right? Or does it mean it'll be put into the catalyst balance?

    They said the same about Steadfast tokens and letters... they are still in my inventory.
    But with Kyra it must be a bit simpler (?) as it operates in a different window and such.

    Got a lot of catalysts stocked up? It’s use-‘em-or-lose-‘em time! Use your catalysts before maintenance on July 19, because afterwards any catalysts previously earned or purchased will be erased from player inventories and from the Welcome Window’s catalyst balance.
