Right now all I think I can say right now is we see some reasons behind EME's decision to remove boxes this time and delete catalysts at the end.
These reasons are not explained to us by EME as of yet, they are just ones we have come up with and understand and believe they're good ones.
I believe mainly we're working on what can be improved with the Kyra event in the future, not for this time.
I could be wrong. Perhaps Scats intends on giving these ideas/reasons to EME sooner than we think.
EDIT: Even then they may not be used now or ever.

I think blue boxes were removed cause people were able to farm over 1000 catalyst easily.

We don't know the thought process behind the current event, as we did not take part in coming up with it. All we can do is forward feedback that is actually reasonable and of use back to En Masse. If you would like to see something done specifically then feel free to discuss it in the proper thread with what you would like to see done.
I'm sure they do when they can. However, you should realize En Masse has done a bit for our version of the game to be less grindy and as costly as the Korean counterpart. There is little basic differences between versions now to speed up the process of getting content to our region, and because of that, some changes that were specific to NA would be undone. That is why some issues are fixed through events such as feedstock, vanguard, and alkahests. I understand that the recent event is very disappointing, and this was already acknowledged. It is difficult for either En Masse or BHS to see it from 'our' perspective, because our perspective is far too diverse. NA is very diverse with its own population in addition to it having people from other regions playing. It would be difficult to really please everyone all at once. Even if they satisfy you it does not mean the majority is satisfied. They're also human, so mistakes will be made. It's really up to the community to be respectfully vocal when these mistakes are made and to be patient for adjustments to be done.

2. We are not employees at EmE and we're not there in the meetings when this is discussed. If I had to guess they were probably thinking this could be helpful/fun and they decided to give it a shot. There is already a thread in the General Discussion about the Potion Shack event and that's probably the best place to share feedback about it.
3. I personally think this is why the player council will be really good. We're players that love the game and each of us enjoy it for different reasons (PvP, PvE, RP and so on). We can share with EmE the feedback collected from the forums and give insight based on our individual experiences as players. I personally understand enchanting frustrations. I farmed battleground boxes for two weeks to finally get one item to +15. That being said we've recently had events which gave out a lot of feedstock and alk to make it a little easier.
Though my overall attitude on the forum is rough, I have only wanted tera to improve so i can continue enjoying it.
For all council members, I have brought over the "Suggestion Thread V2" to the new forums. It is located in the suggestion section of the forums. There is over 50 suggestions in it that were collected over time. I am sure some changed, and some are unrealistic, I just want to make sure you guys know that it exists.
