Stuff we still waiting for.

A few months ago, EME released the TERA Rewards Program. The discontent of the players was clear when we noticed that getting to higher tiers was nearly impossible for players who do not spend money, and the system did not rewarded players based on the time and loyalty to the game, but on how much money they spend. EME confirmed they would work on tweaks to the system to make the higher tiers more achievable and make the system actually rewarding for player loyalty instead of how much money we spend. We still have no news about it and I'm afraid that it was just tossed under the rug. Some communication on the topic from EME would be much appreciated.

On the other hand, we also have been waiting for the longest time and update for the Fashion Coupons. I will link a thread from the old forums that was answered by 2 EME employees, but we still have no answer if we ever gonna get something.
Fashion Coupons Before and Now

The thread speaks about the Brawler outfits too, which we thankfully finally got, so ignore that part. What I want you guys to put attention on that thread, are the unreleased weapon models for the original classes. Reaper, Gunner, Brawler and Ninja have more than just 1 or 2 weapon skins to choose from in the Fashion Coupon Store, yet the original classes only have 3 per class. I also remember that Ktera has absolutely every single released weapon model for the original classes available for purchase with Vanguard Credits, which is pretty neat. Some of the old weapon models look 10 times better than any weapon skin available in the shop. When we gonna get any word of the old weapon models for the original classes, plus the unreleased ones, being added to our client?

At current rates, you can already realistically reach rank 9 loyalty in about 6 months (rank 10 in a year) without paying a cent.

Like pixel said you can reach tier 10 without paying a dime in a reasonable amount of time. Be thankful that EME has implemented a free way to level up loyalty. Other games with reward tiers such as BnS require in-game microtransactions to level up, that's it. Here, EME has nicely balanced the contribution from spending EMP vs. in game vanguards, where swiping your +15 mastercard expedites ranking up, but not that much.

A $100 EMP purchase grants you 12000 reward points, doing three top-tier IOD vanguards gets you 360 points. Granted I have a lot of characters farming IOD, you can easily get 2000 to 3000 points a day with a little over 2 hours and 6 or 7 characters. I've obtained almost 150000 reward points since the start of the system (bout 2 months ago), all the while not spending anything. That's equivalent to spending $1250. Not to mention EME twitch streams and giveaways frequently dump reward points (and credits) at the playerbase too.

In regards to the feedback around the TERA rewards system, there's two types of people: Those who appreciate the system's implementation and accept it as a welcome addendum to in-game incentives, and those who view it as an obstacle to perks that they feel they are entitled to. It's immediately obvious which group represents older players vs. the newcomers.

How so? mathematically, someone would have to pay 10k$ to achieve Tier 10.

IOD quest and PVP quest with a lot of characters. i'm tier 3.5 in 2 months with 2 characters i do some quest at week and i just don't buy anything from game-store, but i buy things from broker like costumes, mounts and in-game services like gender/race changers.

they still getting money someway because someone must buy that things to put them in broker. so yes, just by playing the game you make money for them, you play the game, make it alive, they can make money for more time.

pd. im not that loyal, i left the game like 1 year ago, and now im tier 3.5.
