GAMEPLAY
5 versus 5 "soccer" competition
The objective is to KD the ball (The Popo who is our also our beloved referee) into the opposite team's goal while keeping them from doing the same.
People from other servers are welcome to come join in as most classes get their KD skills early on.

RULES
The ball/Popo is the referee.
Leash skills and Bull Rush have an unfair mobility advantage and are forbidden, if used the game will be stopped, the ball return to the point before the skill was used and the opposite team gets 2 free kicks.
In-game Death Match option will be utilised so teams will not be able to KD/PVP each other.
Teams will be given a dye and asked to dye a costume red / blue for team colour.
PLAYOFF FORMAT
Stepladder matches with each match lasting 10 mins or first team to reach 5 goals.
Format will be adjusted based on popularity to minimise waiting time.

The Back Story
The whistling wind brought an unwelcome chill to the Allemantheian Expeditionary Army camped within Westonia’s borders. While the forces massed were well-prepared for the rigors of travel in the harsh climate, the stresses of maintaining proper military decorum often proved too much for unblooded youths desperate to stake their claim as warriors of note in what was evolving to be yet another display of overwhelming high elven prowess. As Ardion, patriarch of celebrated House Pantheras, strode amidst the mobile barracks of the 38th Company, his characteristically dour expression was set in an almost comical display of abundant disapproval. Protocol had degraded day by day as each successive engagement failed to challenge the might of his soldiers on even the most basic level. Unrelenting boredom had led to his soldiers seeking entertainment in progressively more troubling ways.
Ardion’s approach to the western pickets was interrupted by the squeal of some pained beast. Turning towards the distruption, the elf was witness to what may have been the most befuddling moment in his entire career as an Allemantheian officer. A circular space about 75 paces in diameter had been cleared of tents and gear, and within it stood two groups of five soldiers staring across a small expanse of mostly empty field at one another, the separation being obvious due to one quintet wearing bright red bands upon their arms, whilst the others wore blue. Between them rested a hog-tied and bedraggled popori, one of the many prisoners of war the elves had captured during their martial expansion. Before Ardion could so much as voice his dismay, one elf from both groups stepped forward, simultaneously swinging canvas-wrapped greatswords into the dazed fellow.
The strike from the red succeeded in sending the popori tumbling back and into the mass of the four waiting blues, one axe-wielding defender bringing his heavy weapon to bear to create a wall of steel that brought the flopping creature to a painful stop. What followed was an almost mesmerizing dance, every individual on the field working in concert with their similarly-flagged companions to punt the prisoner about the cleared space with the aim of sending him spinning between one of two designated areas, each defined by pikes thrust into the frozen earth and sporting the colored cloths of one team.
While Ardion did his very best to publically and violently sanction the ridiculous pastime, Popori Soccer soon spread to become one of the cruelest and most popular methods for high elven youths to test their prowess without resorting to deadly duels. To this day, popori often flinch whenever a nearby elf shifts a weapon unexpectedly, never sure if that ancient ignoble sport was set to make a return, and with them as its intended target.

As of now members of our guild have their own little section of the event to help, once all that comes together we will post the Popo Soccer Tournament Promo, should be shortly after this weekend. We are designing it so that every one from every server can play, since all classes get their KD abilities early on, it will be easy to just lvl one to join. We basically have the structure done, just polishing it up
Yes if you like, we will welcome any one willing to help.
[CH] the idea is to create a Death Match where two teams of 5 will be on one side of the match, the Ball and Ref on the other. This allows the teams to KD the ball and not each other as well since it is on [CH] we do not have to worry about people going outlaw and disturbing the matches.

Just level a toon, here is the good part. Almost every class gets their KD skills early on (Most before lvl 10). These skills never have their KD abilities buffed, they KD just the same at low levels as max lvl. That's the beauty of it. you and four other friends can come to just play from another server with little effort.
What time is the tournament planned for? If I can make it, I'd be happy to help. I'm on CH as well.
That is still open at this time, we have people in our guild from Asia and EU that would like to be a part of it as well.
