IOD BAM Party of 2 must kill 4 times amount for quest

Tried to bring a friend through IOD to give them a hand with the BAMS while I did mine, but the only problem is our BAM quests weren't synchronised.
My BAM order was Nagas, Hydras, Giants
theirs was Giants, Nagas, Hydras
And if you don't have the quest, the kills don't count, until you kill the bam type before.
And yes you can of course drop party and fiddle around for my bams but essentially, if u just sort of follow it you're doing
2 x Naga for double party, while only 1 person gets the kills. then later on you come back and do it again for exactly the same result. For another x2
so that's 4 x Naga, Hydra and Giants....
I don't mind if you have to kill twice the amount for twice the people. I'm not here to rehash that.
I want to ask why is this designed to completely alienate one another and deliberately avoid helping or partying to the point it's penalised x2.
Any plans to fix?

Wait some 20 seconds or so, then re-equip the item u took off.
Wait for the system to give you back your quests: they will be again randomly selected.
Hope to get the same one as your friend.
Rinse and repeat until you do.
Kinda annoying and (again) rng dependant, but atm I think it's the only way...

A single piece of equipment should suffice, as long as it's not the belt or any jewelery
I find IoD weirdly.... relaxing... after a whole day at office some mind numbing brainless bam slaughtering has the power to ease my mind lol
The "smaller" quests can be useful too sometimes: if I'm out of time 'cause I'm falling asleep and still have one or two vanguards those are lightning fast and goes for not wasting vg rewards :P
I'm really happy there is glitch fix for this.
