Mystic thrall problems

It would be really nice if we had a "Rid thrall" skill. Now that we can't cancel casting by moving, and we can have two at a time, it's much harder to keep a thrall from messing things up. I just want (Like I have wanted for years) a skill that gets rid of them. Am I the only one that is bothered that we have no way of telling them to go away?

~~Also, thralls appearing where my character is looking, not where the camera is looking is super annoying.

    Like poster above me said. Use heal thrall if you want to get rid of protect thrall. And vengeance thrall doesn't last enough to be that much of a problem. Now the one thing I would like is if protect thrall can move as fast as Gunner's HB. And wrath thrall to AT LEAST turn around faster. But I suppose these two should go in another thread.

    @nopi You can use the greeting skill on your thralls to make them move faster.
  • Healing thrall only gets rid of Thrall of Protection. When doing Celestial Arena, for example, you can't do jack about Vengeance unless you want to waste your Wrath. And yeah, you can toss it out somewhere else, but that doesn't help on rounds like Kaigons and watermelons.

    I think it's stupid that there's no way to dismiss them.

    While we are at mystic's trolls .... also make thrall of protection to be thrall of protection and not run behind me for protection even when I command the stupid thing to attack -__-

    I'd have to disagree myself since the thrall of vengeance automatically attacks anything in its range, and you can't do anything to stop it. That's the only thing I found annoying with the thrall changes, the camera stuff needed some time getting used to, though.

    Biggest issue I have with thrall of protect (aside of moving speed and thanks for greet tip. will try later) is that at least for IoD they kind of suck against T3s. Hydras kill it in like 4 hits. Giants just steam roll them and nagas also get them rather quick.

    As for vengeance, haven't done the celestial arena so I can't talk about their performance there. As a solo player, never felt moved to do such content. But that's an opinion for another thread. I'm pretty much going from common mob and IoD experience. So if it's an inconvenience somewhere else, then yeah, you'd need to think more strategically about when and where to use it. Not a solution but a work around meanwhile of sorts.
