Got kicked from Channelworks for being a fresh lvl 65
I got kicked from Channelworks several times today. I was told I'm not supposed to gear up in that dungeon? But the dungeon is labeled "Gear Up". Why else would people run those dungeons?

CW is still supposed to be a "gearing up" dungeon, the people you encountered were just rude I guess.
But, CW (in my opinion) isn't the best place to gear up. Since you are a fresh 65, you get two quests: an island of dawn quest and a set of dungeon quests. The island of dawn quest should be the fastest way to grab your dreadnaught gear (the first set of gear you need after idoneal), without all the RNG and elitist people. I believe it also includes free innerwear for you, as well as a bunch of enchanting mats to begin enchanting it ^^
You can find the start of these quests in Highwatch.
And yes, I have seen people running around in Slaughter or even Starfall gear with Concaches...
Channelworks was and still is the place to gear up. Of course Pino said that you get Dreadnaught for free through the main quest on Island of dawn. But CW still is one of the easiest dungeons that require no heal nor tanking. Even if you'd have an absolute clueless newbie, he'd not significantly slow down your party as well as he wont be able to kill the run like e.g. Kalivans where people happily jump into the water, throw themselves into charge or run away from the damage split to let the healer/tank die.
So being kicked you were just unlucky to meet the wrong people.
This is depressing to hear. I was also leveling a sorcerer, archer, and warrior but it seems they aren't very popular and may get kicked if there is another archer/warrior, or just for being a sorcerer?
People don't like running with 2 warriors since edge isn't shared, and 2 archers because Velik's Mark doesn't stack.
As for sorc, I think people just dislike them damage wise. I haven't played with a sorc in any endgame dungeon to see the DPS however.
in kiras madnes you see "LFG CW x 16 fast Run Imperator +15 only "
...... some dude say " CW is no the best way to gear up"
sorry, but in kallivan Cahllenger and ChannelWorks you can enter in idoneal set and cruxes, sorry, but the line quest gave you, sorry but is the first dungeon lv 65 you do, sorry but is totally eager say you cant do cw if you no are imperator +15
is like " Why people do DFNM is no the better way to fe Slaugter, better way is SSNM"
............................................................
and sorry, but if you want idoneal innerwear, you need to do dungeos quest ...................................
About CW, i think i got kicked only 2 times when was you got steadfast tolken in there.
It isn't the best way to gear up being that you have the chance of getting constantly kicked, like OP did, and if you're not kicked there is no guarantee that your glove or your boot will drop, and if someone else is there who needs it, then you will have to roll against him. Not to mention it doesn't drop jewelry, making IOD the best, because it includes all of that and more.
CW isn't a bad way to gear up, but it's not as definite as killing a few BAMs for a guaranteed drop of all of the set, plus the jewelry, AND a box of enchanting materials to get started.
And what? SSNM doesn't even drop slaughter gear... o-o
How weren't the past ones full of rng? Having more items in it doesn't make it any more or less rng than past ones. CW also takes ~2 minutes to do, so why wouldn't they try getting an effortless catalyst?
