New classes, gunners, ninja, brawler actually moved against that non-target combat, problem with BHS is they have great designers but the company don't really know how to run Tera, Blizzard runs WOW which is a crap game best and use all the potentials, They made enough money and kept both casual players and pro players happy, can u say the same about current Tera?
Well, honestly, my personal opinion is that trying to keep up with Blizzard was always a fool's errand. IMO, the biggest problem with this game is that they took on way more than they could chew and were never able to recover when the game didn't live up to expectations. (The lawsuits and stuff probably didn't help.) After they switched gears, if they could have just focused on one area and said "this is what we're going to do really well," it probably would have been a little bit better than the mixed bag we got. It feels like they are trying to do way too much with way too small a team, and so are doing most things rather poorly. Plus, their decisions these days seem to be mostly driven by a cacophony of publisher requests without a common thread, contributing to the chaos. Systems are removed almost as soon as they're introduced, or just left to die on the vine without reaching their potential. I really feel that what the game needs is a visionary director with a really clear idea of what TERA is, who it will appeal to, and how they'll reach that goal. With that kind of focus, they'd probably lose some fans/players, but at least they could confidently grow in one specific niche, rather than treading water or gradually sinking... But anyway, I digress.
Many of us can agree with this. BHS needs a new director as you said for finding the new direction.
Not really out to prove anything, just thought I'd share this~
And once you're done with a gridiron or two it'll go back to the same way it was. Good luck getting into gridiron.
Woah a whopping three LFGS
One FINM
Two SSHMs and one with such a trap party noone in their right mind ever dares to join.
You do know that people don't become a pro over one night right? Keep denying these people, they will never learn and progress, just saying :>
New players tend to congregate in HW so it will take awhile before more HM dg are run. But hey. At least we are not so dead
maybe this is part of the misconception about highwatch. i spend a majority of my time in battlegrounds. we all know battlegrounds are cross-server games, is a person has a * then they aren't from the same server. and you know what i see from this perspective... EVERYONE IS CRAP AT THIS GAME. its so confusing.
yesterday for 2 hours I checked LFG each 5 mins, not a single LFG, not one. Not saying dead but none for 2 hours?
And at what point in time do you give up though? After a dozen or two runs where you barely make it to the end with everyone's res scroll on CD for the priest who is making zero progress at all.
I have an idea who you were referring to, but all I can say is you cannot expect everyone to learn as fast as you can. But of course if after running 50 times and they are still bad, then that's probably their issue. I don't think you can assume people can be skilled in 5 runs (I have no idea how many he runs, maybe he really suck but whatever). And what I feel about HW server is that most people here are casual players, it is possible that many players refused to enter dungeons like SS to avoid facing harsh criticism from pro players because they didn't play the game to feel stress. Like bruh, what's the point of wasting time to die in an unfamiliar dungeon for multiple times (even if they are doing their best) and at the end of day only to get people cussing them for being noob when they could have done 4 X easy dungeons within that period without having to face the harsh side of internet? And one more thing, there may not be many LFGs in HW, but you may not know whether guilds are running the dungeons within themselves. Maybe these players only run with their guild mates because they felt more relax and most likely guild members are more patient and more willing to guide them through step by step.
I don't think that proves anything. 1 and a half month since the release of SSHM, but did everyone on the server run SSNM/SSHM from the day it was released? 1 and a half month isn't a long time imo. I'm pretty sure majority of the HW players have not even step into SSNM because they are not mentally ready for it. And speaking of training runs, I have seen a few training runs but tell me honestly, are there many? The amount of training runs available are just as bad as LFG, if not worse. There are more people who needs to learn than the people who are willing to teach. Trainers can't be there 24/7 to teach every single one of them. But of course if they are lucky, they will have their guild mates to guide them along, but from my pov, these people will, most likely, only choose to run the dungeons with their guild members, hence leading to no response in LFG. And people who are willing to step out of the guild to try out on their own, may be doing half of what they can do due to team work. Everyone plays differently, they are not used to it, hence leading to team wipe etc.
The above are just some examples I'm giving you towards those people you called noob. Are they really noob or is it because they don't think of this as big deal since this is only a game? That is for you to decide. And really, I have to repeat this. One and a half month is very very short period of time. I believe many people have a life outside the game, they don't spend most of their time grinding in the game to learn how to play a certain dungeon like you, they probably log on for the few hours to clear vg and that's it. If you are patient enough, wait for three to six months then decide on whether to call people who did not learn as fast as you noob. HW players take very long to warm up because this is how they are like (laid-back whatever). If you want me to say, HW isn't a trash server, it is a casual server. But if you think that laid-back people = trash, I suggest you to move to MT like those who can't stand the laid-back attitude in this server. Their environment is what you are looking for.
You can't change the nature of HW players. Period.
Who the hell even are you?
Are you butthurt that I said someone sucked? Because well they kinda do; I've spent about 30 hours with them on a single boss(and I know of several other people who have spent just as long training this person). I feel that warrants it, when you don't make any progress at that point.
And yes we know about inter guild acitivites; We know that DA does a small handful of dfnm/hm runs every now and again.
We know that Aspect tries to put together a sshm here and there. We know bear fam seldomly runs with their guild for dfnm.
You truly have no idea do you? You're a casual player; Cool I get it.
inside a game? A month and a half is a very very long time
We're not elitist in any means like they are on MT/TR. It's not about hur durr +15 gear or gtfo, or must omfg git gud overnight.
You know all I require for whenever i do a training run? +12 Slaughter properly rolled and etched with temp3s or perm 2s.
If that's too elitist then guesss I do belong on MT/TR.
