So is Tera worth another try...
I've been off and on from Tera since launch and right now I'm in an MMO rut and can't seem to find a game to play and enjoy for hours. I was wondering if over the past year Tera has done anything to progress or is it still declining in player base. A lot of people seem to bagging on it and just don't know if it's worth another shot. Let me know what you think please.

I say give it a go, you wont lose anything for trying it out again. And if you like to see to the future, later this year we will have a major update that is currently on going in Ktera, which will focus on revamping the original classes, starting with the Sorcerer. There will also be a new political system (?) that will take the place of the alliances, a massive GvG for the control of Velika.
they really need do something about it, i m almost not playing cause this, tired relog 10x to try get a decent ping

Yeah, tera is definitely worth another try. I played a long time ago before I quit, and ended up coming back a few days after the ninja update. I don't regret it at all. Plenty of people around, and a lot of things to experience with the new dungeons/gear.
Surprisingly, Teras' population quickly regained in comparison to BnS. I was playing BnS and you could literally see players leaving. Of course there were the usual "I quit"-threads in the BnS forums. However, from a login server waiting queue of up to 3h (yes, wait 3h to get in game!) to instant access (keep in mind that you pay subscription for prioritiy access). While server-only dungeons parties were quickly done (keep in mind that BnS only has DPS, you dont need a tank or healer but only 6 players) in the beginning, it was impossible to find anybody after 2 months. Global got silent and you could only find the hardcore players who paid subscription in advance for a year.
Tera on the other hand seems to have regained its old strenght. Given the actual event, I'd say even old players returned and a lot of new players joined. Highwatch, Velika are full of idling players. You have instant dungeons popping (EU prime time). But the most important: the people are nice. No one's being kicked for running CW, KC, AB in Idoneal as returner or newbie. People even give tips how to gear up.
