Dealing with adds/spawns on DFNM 2nd boss

I'm fine brawler-tanking this crab until the little critters spawn and start attacking my sides where block doesn't reach. So end up having to scoot back periodically, and it probably annoys the dps. Anyone know a better alternative? Ground smash doesn't seem to get them to pack in front of me, and 3rd-auto-spin2win is hard for me to pull off between attack patterns sometimes.

    if i remember the healer is supposed to save you if you have this problem, else you have teamates to help you for that, it is not so hard for a gunner to cook the crabs or ninja to made soup with them, so you are supposed to help your group, not to carry your group, if you have a problem with crabs is mean your teamates dont really help you, but anyway try rampage, it is good skill to bring crabs to front you or you can try bull rush if your teamates cant help you
  • When I run as priest I try to use vortex to at least send them airborn for a second.
  • use your iframe(dash) and go few steps to back, adds wil be in your front, btw you can use your Rampage without any CD if have many adds.

    Work on trying to keep Growing Fury up and move slightly if needed. I personally just stand there with GF on comboing and only move back slightly without turning the boss if necessary.

    Growing Fury. It's harder with Lancer. Lancer's attack is weaker than brawler and sometimes can't kill all the adds.

    But, Brawler shouldn't have much problem with the craps.
  • As it's been said above. It's only a REAL issue for Lancers. A more outlandish solution is to get a brave DPS to go around and cleave a couple of crabs every now and then.

    On both my Lancer and my Warrior, I iframe back once, then charge forward. The overall movement of Odon is about 3 - 5m, which should be alright for most DPS because of the amount of travel they get as part of their skills.

    Thanks for all the suggestions! Forgot a moment that Rampage gathers them up too. I'll do that. And I suppose ur right too, clfarron4 - melee do naturally move forward when executing skills. I won't worry too much
