Are you actually going to name any of the reasons why an inventory extension exclusive to a characters costumes would be worse, or are you just trying to make it look like you're saying something?

Because then I'd need a separate tab for each char which is probably not going to be free and paying to store 10 items or so per char or having to relog every time I need an item are both much less convenient than a bank tab that I can access anywhere, any time, on any char.

I've always had a separate bank tab just for costumes. Recently it's overflowed into another tab. This change will help me a lot.
I guess I'm the odd one out here, but I like the idea of changing costumes from a bank and I've pretty much always done it. If I carried my costumes with me at all times (on my main at least, who has accumulated many costumes over the years), I wouldn't have room for much else.

Good thing you're not the only player on tera then.
  • It's not that hard to go to a bank, or buy a travelling banker, lol...

Not even the just posted patch notes mention a button to access it. So most probably what we get tomorrow won't include any convenience like that. Perhaps in a future build.

B-but I change my outfit every, like, 5 minutes.

    It's a 10 minute cooldown ;~;

Don't seem too extreme to me. For my main I try to get every costume that is released (except really ugly ones like the skeleton Halloween costume) and accessories. At the moment I'm nearing to complete the 4th tab on my pet bank.

I don't really see the point in it, since I change my outfits quite frequently. I have 4 bank pets and each tab holds a different cosmetic slot item (hat, face, back, body). Having to go to a banker to change when I'm itching for a different look sounds annoying, and I don't think I'd make any use of it.

For other people like me, the only use I see is to hold items until you want to sell them for more or to collect hats because why not? Either way, there's no true use for people like myself.

I'd only use it if the outfits were soulbound to my account/server characters because THEN I'd need to be transferring. But of course that defeats the purpose of people buying more EMP to try and score more than two of an item for more than two characters.

I don't really see why you would make a post saying you disagree with an additional feature just because you don't intend to use it. There are always people who will use new features, doesn't mean that you will be one of those people.

I think I will find it most useful. I don't know all the details about it, but I have wanted something like this for a very long time. Buying four pets for additional storage is very expensive, and when you consider that costumes are themselves expensive it seems right to me that there should be free storage for them somewhere. Don't forget that the developers want you to buy costumes. They don't want you to stop buying them because you have run out of storage.

Can't store my unbound Santa's Cap or the Velik's Festival Hat in the wardrobe.
  • I think each of your characters should have a wardrobe bank. This shared bank is great start in the right direction but its only really useful for holding unbound cosmetics... i couldn't imagine putting anything in here that was soulbound, i have 10 characters and trying to figure out which goes for which character would be a pain.

They hopefully will modify this to act more like pet storage how its unique to each of your characters rather than bound to the bank for all characters, which to me seems less useful than it should be.
  • Make the solution that when you soulbound an item to your character you can use it by clicking on the icon in the wardrobe area. If you haven't soulbound that item to your character you can't equip in the wardrobe. This will remove ALL cosmetic items upon soulbinding, and you can use the wardrobe (Available anywhere) to equip the items you "Unlocked"

(Oh wait, this would take away the need for expansions and that would reduce revenue. So it won't happen)
  • This is why we can't have nice things.
