I forgot pokemon go was being released this month! Its out now (at least in the US and Australia) and after about a half hour with it, I can say that its pretty neat to be sitting there and have a wild pokemon pop up on your couch :awesome:

but Yeah the fighting one looks pretty interesting. I don't like playing fighting games, but they're pretty fun to watch.
though there are tons of issues on the game's end, from bugs to server overload.
I had to use a google account just to play at all yesterday. Rip my pokemon. Lets hope they fix it soon.

I have to drive 3 miles just to find any Pokemon. So, I've had to settle on hatching eggs since it's the only thing I can do 5 out of 7 days a week.
So far, I've been getting incredibly lucky, given my current location (in the middle of the desert somewhere in the Middle East, in bumf**k nowhere).

Ponyta (cp356) - I am eager to get that Rapidash.... I'm fairly close, too....

Loads of fun is what this game is. There are no Gyms or Pokestops here, but I'm having a lot of fun catching Pokemon and leveling them up. I cannot wait to get back and see roads lined with Pokestops and Gyms.
I almost crashed catching a Zubat near Toys R Us on my way home from work the other day.
Aw geez. Mang I already have enough things to worry about. Can you dang kids just put down your phones, at least while you're driving, please?
Similar reason why I take it personally as well. I work as police on a base in the states, and have seen a few bad accidents (involving vehicles of course and pedestrians because some kid or some busy person can't put the phone down while they're driving). Had some issues personally as well with myself being rear-ended (younger sister in the passenger seat), pushed us out into traffic, because some soccer mom wanted to text and drive when we came up to a stop sign into a busy road. Luckily drivers coming at my left had good reaction.
I don't expect everyone to be safe with it (I personally may find myself parking at some Walmart or fast food joint to catch a good find), but while you are driving? Remember who could be around you (and I don't mean police either). Trying to catch some 30 CP Zubat could be the reason you put another person in the hospital, much less a child (I don't mean a non-200-year-old Elin either - I mean a human child).
