Manglemire is ok, I love the lack of trash mobs so we can go straight to the boss.
Kumas Royale instant queues are great however it's frustrating when the boss kuma runs in to the enemy base and loses the round. The high credits to time spent ratio is why I'm still running it.
It isn't directly part of the new patch but I heavily dislike the vanguard gold nerf since it helped me a lot to have that extra money. Not sure why credits are doubled but not the gold. I'm farming awakening enchants but now I have to sell some of the MWA to make up for the gold loss. Also the additional feedstock event ended today. I was doing quick runs of Channelworks for feedstock but the reward is reduced considerably now, not worth my time anymore.
I actually feel like there's less activities worth my time to do than before the patch.
Most of the gold made from Vanguards were from the credits so it's not a big deal (7-10k is nothing either way).
I'm fine with the rest of the patch. Especially the wardrobe and the elite status toggle.
The double vanguard gold was worse than 600g ghilleglade. When there's far more gold injected into the game, than gold spent into the game through taxes/merchants, we get inflation.
Inflation makes gold worth less, and less. While there's already a ton of gold in the system, and inflation is going to continue to happen, gold will not lose value as quickly as it did previously.
I don't believe this game was developed with the intention of having flying in the game, but with how easy it is to just teleport around (Elite, teleport scrolls, IMing) to wherever you need to go, why are they limiting the flight?
easier to go point a to point b, it help me when i gathering
in pvp you can jump on the head of your target
Due to health reasons, I can't play for hours at a time or even hours a day. I spend maybe 1-3 now. So technically I am a casual player at the moment. And as a casual player, I can honestly tell you that this gold nerf to vanguard dailies is not sitting well with me.
On my server, prices have gone up through the nose. People have been saying for years, oh each gold nerf will cause the prices to even out and gold will not lose value. That has NEVER happened on my server. Instead people start charging more for items, just to make gold. Those who are new or casual have no way to afford the items. It thus causes people to get annoyed and quit.
I have seen this happen for 4 years. I have run and co ran some of the largest guilds in my server. I have seen people leave due to getting burnt out, trying to find ways to afford to upgrade their gear and get items necessary. I have heard the complaints from newer and casual players about how prices have never equalized or evened out.
If you are a long time player with fully geared toons, you are better off. Most have some kind of gold back up. But each time, these kinds of changes drive off casual and newer players. It stops the game from growing and attracting new people.
I love and adore tera. I have had a lot of fun since day 1. So I have stuck with the game. But these changes lately have been destroying the game for me. Guilds on my server are dying out. People are leaving in droves. I don't want to scream the sky is falling. I have seen people do that for 4 years. But if these changes keep happening and dumb event restrictions ( like this current krya's ).... the game is going to continue to lose more and more people- not gain them.
So I say to the GMs and the DEVs.... start thinking of the newer players, the alts, the casual players. Put yourself in their shoes. Stop thinking of gold sellers and those hording event items. And start doing things that benefit the entire community and that everyone can take part in and enjoy.
Then again, most GMs and Devs now don't even play the game. How I so miss Minea and Tonka.
edit to add: Just to make my post not entirely negative. I LOVE the wardrobe! I have been playing since beta. So my bank and pets have been overflowing with costumes, weapon skins, and accessories. This is a great thing. Now I can have more free space. So ideas like the wardrobe- keep coming. Giving elites the extra slots, again that was a great idea. Thank you!
at least we have a new kumasylum
no more 16 acouts with 16 brawlers x day
