New player question!

Hi folks! I hail from the distant lands of Scandinavia. :D I know a lot of these types of threads go by in a week, but please bear with me. :)

I've decided to play on Tempest Reach (or Celestial Hills, not quite sure yet), as I'm not the biggest PvP'er and Tempest Reach seems to have the largest population outside of Mount Tyrannas, and I've heard Celestial Hills has some pretty nice people. :)

Sadly I am stuck on what to pick for a class as I don't know enough about their late-game to make a firm decision. I leveled a slayer to 26 (astonishingly fast since I've decided to grab the elite package) but from the short experience I've had with the class, it feels too immobile when I use skills. This might change at the higher levels, and I'm a scrub for judging a class based on it's early levels, but that was my experience.

So I would like to play a class that is highly mobile when it comes to auto-attacking or using skills, so I can avoid being locked down in a long animation. :D The current meta for most damage / most useful doesn't really bother me as it will always change, so I'd rather just play something I enjoy and I'll eventually get to a point where I either master the class and make it good, or they buff the class and make it more powerful. :)

Only issue is, I'd rather not play a gender-locked class. (Reaper, Ninja, Brawler, Gunner) As cute as elins are, I don't think I can see myself playing one, same goes for the other races. I like having some degree of freedom when it comes to picking race/appereance.

Thanks for reading this far, and thank you ahead of time if you decide to help. :D It's a tad bit long so I will put a TL;DR to make it easier on the eyes. :)

I apologize for any grammatical errors as my english is still flawed in a lot of ways =)

TL;DR - Please help me decide a legacy class that is mobile and doesn't feel stiff to play.

Warrior. Mobile, plenty of i-frames that cancel out animations even. With enough practice you can both dps and tank with the class as well. If you do play on TR feel free to add any of my characters and I can answer any questions you have about the class you choose or help you with any dungeons and gearing.

Thank you for the answer, warrior is most likely what I will be playing as it is both versatile and mobile it seems :D

I've decided to stick to TR, and I've made a high elf (male) warrior there. While high elf male has some flamboyant animations and looks very... andrognyous so to speak, I think it might be a better choice than that of the bulkiest man alive (human, aman, baraka) furry little animal (though this one is very tempting..) and.. I'm not quite sure how to explain the castanic race in general, but they seem to make a habit out of losing more and more clothing the higher level you get, which might actually be an appeal in some ways depending on how you look at it. :O

My Warrior is a male High Elf as well. I enjoy the animations and think they look the best out of the males especially with some of the cosmetics.
