Playerbase and IP block

Hi everyone,
I am looking forward to try tera and I want to know few things before i start the game.
How is the player base ? are those high servers really true or the system is broken ?
Is the game still IP block or its open for everyone ?

    from what i see on the forums go to MT(PvP) or TR(PvE) they have a high LFM(looking for member) rate and HW is apperently really in a sad state of population.

    Server population info is false. MT and TR are big servers, CH is okay i guess (RP server) HW is small server with a lot of casuals and new ppl but endgame playerbase is half-RIP, all others are full traps.

    then its not totally false if TR and MT have a big server, in which im thinking youre talkign about population wise, cause i think all the servers have the same space.

    Celestial Hills is also fairly high in population too for PvE if you don't mind some people doing RP stuff.

    if you wanna choose 1 server, plz refer to the post "each server in a nutshell" for more info. because that is the truth about servers.
