Why do people keep names?
A while ago I had a character and had to wait 24 hours for it to delete to be able to get the name again, I go to make the character and someone took the name that I used for a long [filtered] time.
Whats the point of keeping names at all?

So maybe you can find yourself a Personal Trademark of your own and name all of your characters like this
Selling names, possible future use, waiting on a friend to use said name, keeping it for when you make enough for a name change voucher, etc.
I hold... a lot of names on HW, and I don't even play that server. I sold names in the past, and if I ever move to that server, I have names I adore that I can use without worry.
That being said, I really wish they would do something about people who get names and never level up the character. All the ones I have on HW are 20+. I see too many names stuck at level 1. And the most we can do it wait for another clean out.
You can contact support as long as you didn't take your time reclaiming your name.
Thing was, I was on that main for a while, a lot of people saw me all the time because of being in velika afk a lot and also being in a pretty big guild. I feel like it was someone who saw me have the name beforehand and somehow knew I deleted it. Maybe I'm not sure
It was probably a guildmate or a friend trolling you. How else would they have known when to take it?
It's either that, or someone who just happened to be on your server also happened to make a new character and also happened to give them the exact same name that you happened to make free at the time that they just happened to make their new character. That's a lot of coincidences. Someone's probably screwing with you.
I lost the name Quacky.
