    Well the N toggles the mini-map on and off. I keep my mini-map on most of the time anyway. The icon used to also access the world map, which can also be accessed by pressing M. Like I said, minor inconvenience, I just got used to using the icon to access my world map. I'm one of the few people in this game who actually try to do all the silly side quests when leveling. The world map allows me to track those.

    I'll just have to get used to pressing M to bring it up instead of clicking on an icon. No biggie. I just don't understand why they would go to the trouble to remove an icon I actually used, while keeping the other compass icons that probably nobody ever uses. Exarch icon? Alliance vault icon? Okay sure, I guess maybe some people still do alliance vault, but clicking on the icon itself does nothing.

    But ey. First world problems. *shrug*


    TLDR version of this thread: BHS removed an icon I used because apparently nobody else ever used it. This makes me sad, but I'm the only person who cares. Nothing more to see here.

    Maybe that was their response to all the petitions to optimize the UI... -_-

    LOL... yeah I'm sure that removing one tiny icon from the compass will give everyone +30 fps. :lol:

    No but really, the icon was indeed removed, I didn't notice since I never used it myself, anyway, Wolf you probably are better off getting used to M for bringing map up, you can open it faster than by entering UI mode then clicking the icon but I guess it's more about being used to something rather than what's more efficient, I don't think many people used that icon so they probably figured it'd be fine to make it go away... then again, it could be an unintended side effect of something... you never know, BHS has a talent for breaking things without noticing when altering completely unrelated stuff...

    LOL... well honestly I'm used to playing in UI mode, and I'm used to clicking on that little icon to bring up my map. Now I'll just have to get used to pressing M instead. You're right, this is something that didn't bother most people because most people never used it and didn't even notice it was gone. I used it, and I noticed when they took it away. I was just wondering if there was a way to bring it back; apparently the answer is no. :(
