About a new class 2016-2017 ideas?
What do you think next class will be? Care to have a conversation about it? I'm bored and I really would like to point out what I think, but, BUT!!! Do not take whatever I say serious or for granted, it's merely just my imagination going wild, so here I go ::
What a nice change for a class in Tera, I think it would definitely be a Samurai -katana user- or a spellsword class. Honestly, I would be just ok with a simple class with a Katana and focus on critical and speed only. My crazy idea came from Vergil's playstyle from the DMC series. - the old DMC, not the DmC - which he's wielding his Yamato sword and has insane cutting skills.
Original idea of mine though ::
1. Skill set

3. Set up
=========
1. Skill set ::
a. (Left Click) Cutting Edge = Normal attack move, after 3 successful slashes the 4th hit gives 5% focus.
b. (Right Click) Block&Slash = A precise block, which means If it timed perfectly, it will block enemy's dmg and cut him with the same atk power. 50-50.
c. (level 2) Swirling Dance = Make enemy lose balance and knock him down, Bosses won't be affected but instead it will replenish 2% focus on hit. 3hits max.
d. (level 4) Sword Mirage = Assault enemy/enemies with a thousand hits in an instant making the sword look blurry when moving with hand, crit factor chance.
e. (level 6) Distant Drive = Charge up your sword in it's seath with focus then unleash a sudden energy that cuts everything in a straight line. 3 meters max.
f. (level 8) Ground Trail = After two successful hits send the enemies in the air and then pile them in the ground with your sword.
g. (level 10) Focus Stance - Active Skill - = By staying close to your opponent/s, increasing combo and evading/blocking your focus bar is increasing 3x times faster.
h. (level 12) Uppercut Slash - Stuns opponent for 5 secs, in pvp it lasts only 2 secs, but it slows the enemy for 1 sec.
i. (level 14) Edge Rush = Dives like a wind in the closest enemy in front, disappears for 3 seconds while hitting for about two thousand slashes. Costs focus.
j. (level 16) Handle Breaker = Seaths sword instantly in it's seath and hits three times enemy with the handle, If third hit successful target is stunned for 6 secs.
k. (level 18) Taunt = Makes a sound that draws 60% aggro of the enemies.
l. (level 22) Counterslash = Only active after getting hit by enemy, If pressed the right moment, player strikes back with 5% critical. Costs 30 points of focus.
m. (level 28) Vertical Draw = If enemies are in midair, player hits them with 6 times with 6 cloudy versions of him/her and sends them to the ground.
n. (level 34) Rising Dawn = Two ghost like versions of the player appears behind the enemy, altogether slash enemy/enemies upwards, sends them down and two other ghost like versions slashes them and stabs them hard in the ground. Cost all maxed focus.
o. (level 40) Mirror Cut - Active Skill - = For 10 hits that land on enemies increases 5% mana, health and focus. - glyph debatable -
p. (level 46) Whirlwind - Active Skill - = While it's active, it costs 120 mana per second and 20 focus per second, gives 6% atk speed and movement speed.
q. (level 52) Demon's Blade - Holds sword very tight with all the might, dark aura consumes player, hits once, 25% critical chance.
r. (level 58) Heaven's Judgement - Wields sword with both hands, bright aura consumes player, and after three hits a big golden heavy sword comes down from the sky, grounding all the opponents.
s. (level 65) Divide and Conquer - Uses all max focus, player takes a step back, seaths his/her sword, and in a bright instant moment, dashes through enemies, appearing behind them and small light cuts in the air hitting them.

2. Gear
Since this class's skills are too OP for some people, my first thought was a Light Armor. But let's just change it to Cloth Armor, to make it more fair and vulnerable to other classes, giving them a high chance to actually be a room for competition in pvp.
=========
3. Set up
Really, nothing to say here yet, but it's more about it's crystals I guess, it could use something with power and critical, or speed and aggro, or something like that, haven't really gave it too much of a thought, but a real genius would come along the way and make an awesome guide about that class.
=========
Well, that's it. If you want more details let me know, maybe we could discuss this, what are your thoughts about it? See any room for improvement? Would a class like that change Tera and make it more interesting that it already is? Is it worth to take a part in there?
Also, I believe it should be an exclusive to Male Castanic and Male High Elves, because...we had a lot of exclusives about and only females, Reaper, Gunner, Brawler and Ninja, and two of those are for Elins, I think it's high time for some Castanics and High evles - the male ones - to take the lead for now.

#1 female locked (big surprise), and
#2 not a healer
No point in discussing what the next class "should" be, as BHS has already decided. It's already said and done.
Your "comments, suggestions, ideas" for new classes won't make it in time for "next class". But maybe in time for the class AFTER the next class. But don't count on anything male.
I don't even
*ahem* Okay. Now incorporating the concept of "suspension of disbelief".
New classes I'd like to see: Paladin. Necromancer. Druid. Warlock.
Just to name a few.
Paladin could be a healer / tank class. Give him (or her) a spear, or a sword and shield combo. Skills for both defense and team heal support.
Necromancer would be a "dark" sorc with the ability to summon and control minions. "Weapon" could be something like a skull.
Druid would be a healer / support type class that uses nature magic and a bo staff. Probably Popori locked because that seems appropriate.
Warlock would be an evil SOB that uses blood magic for dps and self healing. Castanic, naturally.
---
Looking at the whole Tera concept overall, we have oversized weapons that resemble real-life weapons but with a huge influence of fantasy. While the classic classes were mere oldschool (sorc, priest, mystic, archer), the new classes were a small kind of masterpiece (tanking and simultaneously dealing damage as brawler) or based on famous, successful series (Naruto ninja). Following this trend, as business development manager, I would go for an exoskeleton class, resembling a battlemech (D.Va from Overwatch, Neon Genesis Evangelion, BattleTech series, etc.). Given the actual cycle, the next class would be high elf female and castanic female, which fits into the previous gun tech resort. In my opinion, there will never be an Aman female class as this is also a very rare played and probably low sales profit class (same as males).
"New class"
- New Class (Female Only) - Confirmed not healer. It’s dps or tank
Possibility of being Popori? Never Popori (It’s male)
Will it be OP?
Unconfirmed Information or “Just a Speculation”
DISCLAIMER: There are speculations via informal settings that the next class will be a sort of Elin witch class. Before the ninja class, there was a debate on whether to release the witch class or ninja class- and as we know now, the chosen class was ninja.
As much as I love things like paladins and spellswords (none of the new classes have made me want to play them yet--but I'd be all over those), they REALLY need to hammer out the balancing between the existing classes before making any new ones. ._.
Also, to the post above, I feel like they mentioned that it is female, but not elin.
On the idea of the Paladin... I've decided to make it human locked. Both male and female (making it available for both genders of all races would be great, but you know, budget constraints and such...). And the weapon will be a sword and shield combo (spear class reserved for possible future ideas). For skills, I haven't put too much thought into it, but the char will have basic sword attacks and rely mainly on block for defense (would also have at least 1 iframe, but I didn't bother planning that far ahead for something that will never exist). Char would deal average dps, nothing spectacular. Metal armor. Nice defensive and offensive boosts that benefit the entire party... I would call them "shouts" but that would be a blatant ripoff of another MMO... could include skills like "For the Federation!" = temporarily boosts party endurance and gives each party member hp regen for a set amount of time... "For honor and glory!" = debuff's enemy endurance and crit resistance for a set amount of time... stuff like that (corny and cliché, I know).
On to the Necromancer... for this class I would create an entirely new race. TERA already has High Elves, but what it doesn't have is Dark Elves. The Necromancer would be a brand new race and race-exclusive class of Dark Elves (male and female). Basically just shorter, darker skinned versions of High Elves (with crazy cool eye colors, like red and purple and green). Okay yes I know I'm blatantly ripping off classic RPG lore here! But everyone knows that High Elves were ripped from the very same lore anyway. So... ignore the fact that I'm being cliché. Practically every video game made in the past 20 years is cliché. It is what it is, deal with it. *ahem* Anyway... the Necro would have cloth armor and a skull for a weapon, and that skull would cast out "dark magic" attacks. The basic attack would launch once per second and each hit would "stun" the target for 0.5 seconds. Passive skill "Cannibalism" that restores some of your health every time something near you dies. In addition, the Necro would eventually learn abilities like: Plague (poisons the target); Kindred Spirit (summon a ghostly thrall to heal and protect you); Raise Dead (summon a minion to fight for you; minion lasts for 60 seconds or until killed; can summon up to 5 minions at one time; various glyphs can increase this number, or increase minion damage or endurance); Zombify (enthrall a monster that is at less than 20% health to make it fight for you; this effect lasts for 30 seconds during which time the zombie thrall is invincible, afterwards the thrall dies; does not work on bosses or BAMs; "zombifying" 1000 monsters gives you a class specific title, "I, Zombie"); Resurrect (immediately bring a fallen teammate back to life with 100% health, mp and stamina; after 60 seconds, the teammate dies again [does not count as an actual death, so no crystals are broken or anything like that])...
The Druid would be a Popo with a bo staff. It's basic attack would be 3-fold: left swing, right swing, and thrust. The third and final thrust attack would deal more damage than the first two, with a chance of knocking the target down. It would also have a block skill, in addition to a "pole vault" evasion iframe. Leather armor. Low dps, but high mobility and decent defense. It would have a charging type "Joust" skill with a high chance for knockdown. Also ground-pounding AoE attacks to stun nearby foes. The ability to summon healing springs and such for allies. "Restraining vine" type attack to hold an enemy in place; also a "poison ivy" attack for DOT. "Medicinal Salve" skill for targeted cleansing and healing. Very nature-based, so most of its attacks and healing spells would be based on summoning rain, or sunshine, or plants, or animals, etc. Maybe a special skill for temporarily charming animals (having permanent tamable fighting pets is something I always wanted for archers, but it seems pretty obvious that will never happen).
For Warlock... Castanic locked. Cloth armor. Weapon would be some kind of evil looking spiky pentagram or something. Maybe with a grappling hook ability (sorry, bit of a stolen idea there). Basic attack would be a vampiric type effect that steals health from the target to replenish hp. Most attacks would be based on a combination of sacrificing health and stealing health, making it a difficult character to play. Blood wells, self sacrifices, etc. The kind of character that would benefit from those crystals that boost damage when below 50% health (forget their name). Example: sacrifice X amount of your health to deal X times damage to the target; follow that up with a "vampiric drain" to restore your health, stuff like that. Use the grappling hook thingy as a tether to hold enemies in place, drain their health, pull them to you or fling yourself away. Inflict bleeding DOT on your targets, sacrifice hp to restore mp, etc. Plenty of possibilities there.
Also thought of another class: Illusionist. Haven't really hashed out the details yet, but it would be a class that kind of teleports around and creates holograms of itself, relying on trickery to defeat foes.
OH... and the spear weapon will be reserved for a voodoo type class that casts hexes on its foes.
Yes, I obviously have an overactive imagination and spend way too much time thinking about stuff like this. It's a curse.
I already quit a vm5 +15 gunner and a vm6+ 15 slayer to main a priest now cuz i'm fkn tired to be obsolete every 6 months cuz of a new Op gender locked classes dealing double the dmg with double iframes, it's such a HUGE waste of time to play dps on Tera
As i already said, from now they should focus only on balance stuff and new content (non-reskinned bosses, new pvp BGs, etc)
For Paladin:
