Evasive Smash Berserker

Currently I started playing the berserker and really enjoyed it , but I'm having trouble using evasive smash , every time I use the failure. Use TS hope load 4-5 times tightening the evasive boss go to the back of tightening the ES again and does not come out , it happens to the CYC also , I do not long to retighten thing 2 seconds at most use the skill on the keyboard, already tried the letter C , Q , E, and unsuccessfully , I wonder if there is any secret to use the skill successfully without fail.

I dont play berserker but from my understanding you need to charge up the TS -> hit evasive (the roll) -> release TS -> and then hit evasive in the next 5 seconds for the hit. Common problems occur when you charge the TS -> release TS -> evasive -> try evasive but fail.
  • Charging TS > press ES (still holding TS key) > press ES again

You need to do roll while still holding on the charging key.

Maybe this is wrong, I use the ts carry it and use the ES then I loose the TS and try to use the ES ( HIT) will test still holding the TS button OR CYC
  • Is it somehow ping related?
  • I do not know if 160-180ms interfered in using this skill

I play berserker with similar ping and have no issues at all with this skill. My Evasive Smash is bound to X. So in my case, I'd be charging TS or Cyclone, press X while still holding TS or cyclone to dodge, and then simply press X again within the next few seconds to release the hit.

That's happened to me before too. Sometimes I won't fully charge a skill like TS or cyclone and then I'll go to use esmash and the actual attack part won't work. Just the roll. Only ever happened to me while I was dicking around in town, though. Seems like a minor glitch. Dunno what causes it.

One problem with zerker is that high ping is not his friend. At high ping you will charge attacks very slowly. But as said by others, you must be holding your charge key when activating ES. The character will roll and ES will remain active for a few seconds. Press the ES key again within that time to do the attack part.

Thing about esmash is the little space chain popup isn't quite right. I swear it's only 2-3 seconds before the slash portion is inaccessible. I personally have esmash on Mouse3. It's just the easiest to me.

Can confirm that Evasive Smash still works just fine even at 300ms, and personally I have it bound to E. I had always been just a straight TS zerker because I couldn't get the hang of E-Smash in the early days but decided to give it another try lately and must say it's a lot easier than I remember. Just have to watch the cooldown on your Evasive Roll if you use it much....
  • Just for your Information

    1. Pretty much never use TS -> ES cuz your dmg after 4 overcharge ticks is nothing compared to Cyclone -> ES
    2. Only use ES when you need to iFrame/survive certain Attacks or Mechanics (You pretty much don't gain anything DPS-wise when you use it)

When TS/Cyclone go into ES, you don't need to hold the TS/Cyclone anymore... cause you already get the ticket to use ES.
Smash part have bug but it very rare. The smash part just wont release when bug happen = =lll

Asking for info, does ES grabs the damage from all Cyclone charges and mashes it up in a single attack? Or is it a little more complicated than that? Haven't tried my zerker in ages and cannot go in game right now to test due to work.

For each overcharge tick (Cyclone has 5 overcharge ticks) your ES damage increases. Not really complicated o:

I know it gets stronger the more charge it gets, but is it able to do the same damage as a fully OC'ed Cyclone? Again, at work. I will most probably answer this question myself once I can get home. Or if I can get a chance here on my laptop.
