Yup. I'm afraid so.
If the next class really is a sorc-type class (which wouldn't surprise me based on the info we have... they already stated that it will be female-locked and won't be a healer class... they've already released two melee/ semi-ranged dps, a ranged dps and a tank class... so it makes sense that the next class will probably be another magic using dps)... I feel bad for the sorc mains.
Trust me, I empathize. I was an archer main when gunner came out.
It's rather sad that they're more concerned about costume sales and pushing out the next OP class than they are about being, oh, I don't know.... innovative and creative. But... the almighty profit rules all. Which is why the next class will be female only, because you-know-what sells. And why the next class will be OP, because easy sells. Great way to get new players to try your game. HORRIBLE way to retain older players. But then, that's most company business models these days. To heck with the loyal customers, let's just sign up more clueless hapless noobs and not tell them how horrible we're going to treat them in the long run. Because hey - forget about recycled content and class imbalance - we have ELINS! Eh? Eh? Come on, check it out, elins! We know you guys love elins... we also have other assorted female classes in various states of undress...
