I think will stop playing tera eventaully... these changes are simply bad jokes for me. I've felt i lost a lot of time for nothing trying to get my main priest to the best gears... Anyway... Priests need changes.
As my main character is priestess, I wont discuss details with you in this. Because our class is much more than healing only. It's about timing the ES, TN, charging mana. It's about leashing, shielding and even arise. If you say that arise is useless, you may not know that the main task of arise is to compensate retaliate on CD, not drive up some useless balance. You ensure team mates to get up to move out of danger zones. Skill, timing, knowledge, experience, foresight, positioning, movement is way more important to play a priest than some petty number differences.
But you may tell us that you've been kicked by groups that rather run without healer and 4 man only - because the class is useless.
Please do tell me when I have the time to fully use my repertoire to heal someone and not 1 second to cast 1 heal.
Priest is in a good position, if you want to heal 5 stationery party members within 10m of each other or closer. And can get close enough to healing circle if I used all my long heals.
These dungeons do not allow us to heal immersion and focus heal and pop something else. You get one chance - 1 skill to heal before they mess up again and die.
All my heals heal lower than my exactly same geared Mystic (due to crit heals). Even healing immersion can barely heal above TF. Priests are not in a good position in PvE.
Mystics may be more wanted right now, but that doesn't make Priests suck.
Sounds like you have more problem not being the most sought after heal class than you actually do with your Priest.
Priests aren't on top this cycle but it not gonna last forever.
Priests have been in a good position for a long time... and having multiple classes in a game you have tiers aswell.. you just CANT be on top EVERYTIME... this buff/nerf cycle is endless... happens a lot with dps... even with the tanks... lancers probably felt the same way as you when brawler came last year..
Of course we can use some buffs.... that stupid circle healing thing has been useless for AGES....
did you ever had the chance to check ktera talents system? not sayin its perfect but they have some cool things over there...
ARISE: chance to get a shield
MANA CHARGE: increased combat mov speed and ppl who get it have a chance to get a extra buff that recover stamina
KAIAS SHIELD: if it last for 12 seconds, increase endurance (not that u rly need that lol)
TRIPLE NEMESIS: 3 hits on same target decrease crit resist
GUARDIAN SANCTUARY: mov speed and backstep reduction (lol?)
ENERGY STAR: chance to give a shield and chance to remove all buffs
i know that that part of "chance to" sux.. more rng.. but its something...
and about starfall.. its not only for priest... both healers have been forgotten on equips.... hyderad has been a thing since when? should have something WAY better than now.... new healing earring doesnt improve ur healing!!! thats sad! crit and power sets.... no tanky and healing ones ):

Btw guys, remember about how broken stuff would be in PvP when you talk about changes. ^ This for example; i know this is supposed to be a PvE thread but class changes wouldnt affect only that; those changes that were suggested would be terrible PvP wise.

Anyway, idk why ppl have been complaining so much about Priest. I play both and i still think Priest is easier to play and do well.
Hope the talent system never comes to NA tho
It's not BHS who made Priest "useless", it's players who started to hyping about Mystic's rerwork. Mystic is now powerful, this rework was huge buff, but only cause Mystics needed it and Mystics are not better than Priests, they are comparable. Still it depends of playstyle, for one Mystic will be better/easier, for other Priest.
Although sometime down the road Bluehole will be adjusting healers so that 2 healer parties are not as effective as 1 healer party. Not sure how they're going to do this as they have not said anything. But until then, 2 healer parties will be the meta for most HM groups.
Just because mystics can now compete with them better? What a joke.
So basically what you are asking for, is to be more OP than Mystic, like you have always been in the past, before the latest healer update.
Priest has zero problems completing all PvE content in the game. ZERO problems whatsoever!!
I'm perfectly fine with Priests getting some improvements in PvE. But to act like hey are suddenly a worthless class, is just plain ludicrous.
