    Theres no collisions in highwatch. The skill itself is a lunge skill. You wont hit anything point blank. Try stepping a meter backwards and then casting it. Should land 100%
  • I'm not a ninja, but I know when fighting them they don't seem to have issues hitting it. They aren't casting it close though, they are always like 4-5m away.
  • Chakra thrust is very ping-reliant. Us high ping ninjas loathe for being able to do jagged path > chakra thrust in PvP. You need less than 60ms ping to hit it at least half the time from point blank. 30-40ms is more ideal for hitting it 90%+ of the time. Simple work around is angling the double cut and moving back in with chakra. I'm not sure about PvE but I don't think you should use it in your rotation. Although, I do use it a lot on the IoD BAMs and never experienced desync with 100~130ms ping.

  • That chakra thrust has cost me a ton of kills in bg's. It misses more often than not.
  • The non registry of the skill's impact is something I barely notice but it is extremely difficult to get to use it efficiently to stun in pvp Its also rather risky to get it done. Heck even reaper can still stun an opponent or cable to them as long as the click of the skill is done at the same time as the cross-hair is still on the opponent for the split second. Although I wouldn't say that's a good thing but in comparison to ninja the stun is still more efficient. The ninja basically can only stun if the opponent is in one spot or they are facing towards you and you are facing them or the opponent is just moving slower than you possibly because they are in combat. Those sadly are the main the factors to completing the stun point blank.
    What can i say though.. It matches the class and every class has its obvious disadvantages. I'm having a hard time forming any suggestions honestly to make it better.

    Hands down, the skill just needs to be reworked to land effectively. It's understandable if a player's hitbox is dislocated from their character model and thus causes an error in skill registry, but the fact that immobile targets can be missed, point blank or otherwise, is ridiculous. Heart Thrust was never this bad, but they did fix it to the point where it was point-blankable with little issue. Now we need BHS to acknowledge that CT has a problem as well. Skills like Combative Strike desync can be worked around easily, but for such a prime skill in ninja's PvP kit to be missing so consistently shows a lot of carelessness in the programming stage and absolutely needs to be fixed and I seriously hope Enmasse will be decent enough to forward our concerns to BHS.

    It appears the only way to make sure it lands with 90% accuracy despite range depends entirely on very high fps and very low ping. Like sub 20 ping and consistently above 60fps. Even then, opponents can slide out of place of their own accord depending on their connection and visual update speed. So here we are, full circle with Tera's [filtered]-poor optimization and USA's horrible market for competitive broadband speeds while BHS seems entirely unaware that non-kTera regions have huge problems with this skill and completely unsure of how to fix the iframe application errors on One Thousand Cuts/Smoke Bomb.
