What class is your main and why?
I've been playing this game for roughly a month and a half. The combat mechanics have me hooked and are way more involved than WoW ever was. However, I've yet to pick a main. People keep telling me the classes play way differently between leveling and level 65, so I've been leveling all of the classes up.
I have:
Ninja - 65
Reaper - 65
Gunner - 65
Lancer - 65
Brawler - 65
Sorcerer - 65
Warrior - 62
Archer - 65
Mystic - 65
Slayer - 61
Priest - made multiple level 40ish, then deleted.
Berserker - never made it past lvl 8
I am currently switching between my Slayer and Warrior, but I am starting to feel burned out and I am looking for some opinions. I know they are all subjective and may not apply to me at all, but I'm just hoping for something to rekindle my interest in one of the classes. Who knows, maybe I'll eventually get them all to 65 and find Tera isn't the game for me after all.

(I suppose I am the wrong person to ask because I don't really have a main and just play whatever character I feel like, even once they're at 65.)
Also meant to say that dps meter not allowed so you don't have to worry about that .
@counterpoint made a good observation as well about burning out leveling all those characters. Pick a ranged class and go kill stuff have fun and stop working so hard. Lol
In the beginning I was just playing to find a class I enjoyed playing, regardless of the content. That said, I definitely prefer PVE content.
I don't really care about DPS meters much as long as I'm not dragging down the party. So far this hasn't happened because I research all of the rotations, guides, etc...before I roll each class. The only one I've struggled with is the Warrior because I just got Scythe and I'm having trouble fitting that into my existing rotation.
I guess I'm not really looking for someone else to pick my main for me. I just want to know why other people main their classes. Maybe there is something special about a class that I missed, because all I see now are rotations and skill priorities, haha.
They way a Lancer is played, is just so satisfying for me. Unlike a traditional mmo tank that just idles and cast aggro spells, Lancers have to constantly be attacking and being aware of the boss moves. On top of that, getting close and personal with the enemy boss has its feeling of adrenaline.
Lately i been getting into sorc tho, is the only dps class i havent tested yet, and so far so good., but my main will always be a Lancer, no matter what crappy overpowered class (ahemmmm Brawlers) comes my way.
Also, the sound effects of Lancer attacking are much more attractive than hearing a tapping sound like the brawler when it punches. I like the sound of steel against steel.
but this way i don't have to stress over dps meters, people not wanting me in groups solely based on class, etc. healers also have less stress on the need for gear, PVE-wise. ez life man.
The gearing process will be longer and harder, but you will learn your gameplay much efficient.
I think most guild will welcome a player who capable of rotating between each role.
You can try warrior tank, slayer dps & any healer will do.
now it is brawler, because she is so fun
I also like ninja and reaper a lot. Maybe if they could be high elf female they would be able to be my favorite class.
