try to buy 2200 EMP with other methods and choose Rixty and see it, you can cancel from there.

It still says $20 for me unless I'm doing something wrong. Where are you from exactly?
  • Oh I made a mistake, 27$ to get 2200 EMP which is for 20$, scam much?

    Tax is a thing.

It also depends on where you are from.

I chose USA as always, I always used this system to buy stuff, I used Amazon and now I tried to use Rixty and got rekt.

If you do it with paypal you gotta pay 20$ flat
  • The thing is I have been shopping from outside of USA for ages now with Rixty never seen anything like this, 7$ more cause I am outside of USA? I tried Smite and it is the same as before
  • I just went through up to the payment and it showed $20 like Aetona said. $27 sounds like it's taking an exchange rate into account.

how? I didn't even go to my account yet, :surprised:

Idk, but if you do the exchange from USD to AUD or CAD and add tax you'd get around $27 in each of them

'Taken into account' means the exchange rate is included in the cost.

well is mean you are not american citizen and than you live in a country where the tax is too high :)
  • When you use the "700+ Payment Methods" option (Xsolla), it will do both currency conversion and consider necessary taxes in your region. It will usually provide a breakdown of how it came up with that price. It determines your region based on your IP address (and you login even before you access that screen). If you choose the "Show More" option, it will give you a drop-down that lets you choose your country, in case it detected incorrectly.

I tried testing it here and even the Rixty method and it was just showing the plain $20, but it probably depends on where it's detecting you live.

I pay with Steam Wallet, so i always pay flat price for the amount of EMP i chose. If you have TERA on your Steam, use Steam Wallet.

If by American Citizen you mean USA citizen, then i am not one just yet, but i still pay flat price, even when i buy straight from EME shop.
