Only reason alliance is dead is cause people don't like the effort that has to be made for it to work and the rewards
Innerwear cost 100k cause people dont wan't to put effort for it and say Ghilliaglade dont give enough rewards to be done (like a 100k innerwear was not worth the effort)

If they put conflate and starfall mats in the noctenium society merchant, I bet people would do alliance again.

The most funny part is the server status: Recommended or High population lol ...
People start and stop in 1 week.

    Well, yeah...

Back on topic (sort of), I do also play in LoT, certainly people who just logs in the server and sees few people in the leveling zones gets the impression the place is dead (it IS a small server, I know), but no one tells them the problem is the leveling process itself because of how fast it is. Whenever a new player asks if the server is empty or not, people tells them "it's a small server, transfer anywhere else" instead of encouraging them to stay and let the server grow; whenever a new player asks something about the game, almost no one takes the time to answer, even if they're simply idling in HW or Velika doing nothing while waiting for queues to pop, and I'm not talking about people demanding in global to know how the whole crafting, enchanting and gearing systems work, even the simplest thing is answered with silence or a "gtfo n00b". That certainly doesn't help small servers to develop.

That's how things started for me in LOT! I may move to MT depending on how active my guild is in LOT atm. If not I'll move to MT and create my guild from there. I can't expect to be able to make my guild grow in such a small server and the experienced pvpers in the server are already in a prestigious pvp guild. Mostly Revolt, Dark Blood, Desync, KIG, and HighSchool.

    7. MAKE JUST ONE PVE AND PVP SERVER. NO POINTS TO HAVE 10 SERVERS AND ONLY 2 ARE GOOD TO PLAY.

Numero uno on the improvement list needs to be Etchings. REMOVE THE RNG!! It's expensive as hell already and uses way too many Mats - using up a permanent rank 2 etching in a combine should guarantee a permanent rank 3.

Honestly, with all the legitimate concerns in this thread alone I have to ask: With all the cash grabs all the time are you trying to make ex amount of money off this game before sun setting it?

The only reason people play this game is the combat and friends they have. The developers of this game are absolutely among the worst in the MMO industry today. That says a lot. You are ruining a decent game with awful decisions and the sooner you start tailoring the content per regional clientele the better the health of the game will be. Stop making our hobby the equivalent to punching our selves in our gonads.

The good things of this game:
    1. Graphics are nice
    2. Animations are ok
    3. Finally flying mounts
    Overall it's very pretty.

The bad things of this game
    1. Zero control of your character stats (they are fixed)
    2. Zero choice of gear types, looks and stat choices. (reroll with only one choice of set gear by the level.)
    3. Everyone generally has the same gear, and the same stats at one time or another.

The best experiences I have had is when I have had 100% percent control of my character build, from weapons to gear, controlling with stats I want increased while others not. The Crystals slots a good idea as an adoption from Final Fantasy. A problem I have is my gear does not advance in stats but remains the same. I don't actually become stronger. In the many games I have played, you have the ability to continue to grow like forever where cap level was actually 9999. You could essentially become a god in those games. You would think with the death of gods in Tera, you would be given the option to enter into a new quest to become a god in replacement of those lost or forgotten. You could then challenge those that have reached that god status to either take it from them or be the first to have it. In my opinion in any game, end game is where the game of godhood begins. Example: god of ninja's, god of warriors, god of priest, or whatever class as a lower form of diety. God of Fire, water, some kind of animal as a greater form of deity. God of Time, space, Power, soul, etc as a demi-god of sorts.

Essentially if Tera did not get away from a majority liking that many games have regardless of action combat, they might be ok. The problem that tera is having now is the fact that, they do not get rid of content that no longer is used and just sits their unconnected to any quest zone or story, like badge merchants for example. They will sit their for years because someone forgot, after removing a quest or some festival from the game. Yet somehow, as the new gears are introduced, you will find them also in those old badge merchant shops. Makes one scratch the head at that.

Furthermore, the amount of time it takes to level up, the double experience point system is what kills the game entirely. They do it for those that are elite or have gotten it as some buff from staff for some sort of celebration. To be honest, the elite system is what hinders the enjoyment of the game for those that have been playing for a good long time. There are certain things that should remain with the elite system to keep it a good system while getting rid of other things like extra xp.

Bosses and Monsters should actually have a faster attack speed then what they do, they should move around a bit more and make it more challenging. Sometimes when I fight them I wonder if the developers think I am [filtered] or something, heck even if I was [filtered] this would still be unchallenging.

Because of the amount of time it takes to level, because of the constant camping and pking of players, because of the cesspool chat box is a prime reason why the servers die. Because essentially, to solo in open world is unchallenging. IN fact you shouldn';t even be able to make parties in open world systems. You should only be able to make parties by queing for them for dungeons, or battle grounds under an application system. Those that start the party are then able to accept or deny you based on your stats, which ever if we had that option to have control ourselves.

It's a rigged system folks. It's rigged I'm telling you.

So based on those opinions of my experience yes it is dying.
  • That's another problem FPS. Graphics are really bad optimized.
From 72 people I know, I'm the last one. Time to take a permanent break in Tera.

1- Character stats are always very, very fixed. Even in the MMOs or ARPG where you have many skills and points to be chosen, because always there will be the best build that everyone will follow.
    2- The same
3- As I said above it always happens in every MMOs.

From 72 people I know, I'm the last one. Time to take a permanent break in Tera.

Yes I would agree that this game is not optimized at all. No one can say that it is. Because it isn't. I play another game on the side or rather has been getting the majority of my attention as of late. I have zero lag when I play and the speed is just outstanding. I also feel it may not be Korea influenced.

Now with Tera we know it is Korean influenced, with that said. I'm not sure we can expect anything better than what we have got at this point when it comes to optimization. I also feel it is just a handful of people involved in the making of Tera and it's programming versus other Non Korean games.

The funny thing is, when you read on KTera translated information, about optimization, character balancing or anything involving Tera, They tell you to submit your inquiries to NEXON. NEXON doesn't have anything to do with Tera at all. In fact Nexon just came out with Riders of Icarus, which is just too similar to Tera with the exception of it's tab targeting system which is something of which I prefer even though I got used to Tera's action combat system.

With Tera I have more control over my character mobility which is something I miss in Riders of Icarus. Riders of Icarus is keyboard majority control with it comes to character mobility.

All in all I think one of the reasons why Tera maintains a average number of players is probably because of its action combat system and control over character mobility. It's unlike any other game out there. If I can say anything super positive about Tera, it's that unique feature that is found with that control.

Eventually I think, by theory alone that Tera just may come out with a aerial combat quest in which you would fight with your mount, and your mount would actually have skills in which you would use to fight in combat.
Talk about taking pvp to a whole new level. I can just see pvp'rs flying on dragons by the numbers over Kaitor having duels with mount skills alone.

Besides all that with the server going dead on LoT to many observers it's not the only one that has been complained about even on chat inside the game itself. Omg the cesspool it is, but the complaints and opinions are majority to say the least. LoT is not the only one underthreat.

Now it's just my opinion but I think it may be time for what is called a turnover. Meaning we need a new set of minds to start bringing some fresh insight and some new content or the resurgent of something old yet returning more sinister and angry. I bet Lumbertown is next to be destroyed like Island of Dawn was. It would not surprise me a god of old is under the Island of Dawn. A god so old that time has forgotten and, it's this ones turn to cause some serious havoc. You think the argons are bad according to the story line? Have you ever considered why there are some strange Amani so different from the rest in the furnace? They look so much more unique compared to the rest of Kaitor, almost as if they were part Fire Elemental. Next you know we will have Fire Elementals running a muck in Lumbertown, and worse their weapons all have that blacksmiths mark. And the Blacksmith all along was behind the mystery of an unknown force soon to awaken.

I have always wondered why Can't I find any other creatures like that blacksmith, why can't I have a character that looks like that? The questions go on and on. Perhaps these questions go through peoples minds as well. Perhaps the Tera community in general is not as friendly in game as one may think. Perhaps this is also why the servers seem dead. Perhaps those that go to these servers to play have reached a point in the game in which they have it in their mind "I have beat the pve part of the game, pvp never changes and is starting to get, boring."

One may wonder truely if the servers are dying of boredom if anything, when they see them all huddled together drawing in the dirt, or running around in circles like mindless zombies.

I don't know why people ask for "options" in play style/build when that never works in any game. Those extra "options" are just illusions that wasted resources to create. Anytime a game allows options or builds there is always a single dominant one that nearly anyone with experience ends up using, with the few that don't being rejected from most groups. Additional "options" also creates even more balance issues, because now not only do you have to balance several classes, you now have to balance several classes with several different builds.

That maybe. But there is that one aspect of the game we all seek. To be the god in the game.

There can be only one! muahaha
